I'm not saying I agree with it, Im just pointing out its ok saying they don't care but reality they do, and they are being played like a violin. Fans sadly have to go along with it as nothing we can do will stop Ccc, Wasps, Higgs and Now the rugby club. All going one way like it or lump it.

The fans go along with it because it gives them something to shout at SISU about.

Both I would say.

As people keep saying ad nauseum, Stu, people don't want to work with Sisu. We see it at every turn.

There is no easy answer, there really isn't and this is why we have to try everything and anything to resolve the situation until everything is completely and totally exhausted.

Yes conditions they know the club has no control over, they may as well be asking the football club fixes the greek economy crisis before negotiations take place.

I think what Tony says is the best option at the moment.

If we really want to remove Wasps, or knock them down a peg, or hurt them, then the best thing to do is to get people to not attend Wasps games. People who love rugby want to go and watch rugby games, so if Cov can raise their profile and be a promotion winning side then there is the opportunity to divert fans away from Wasps and on to Cov.

Won't be many at first and it would take some time, but the lower Wasps gates the more they will suffer. The more it is Cov getting the write ups in the paper, the more Wasps will suffer.

Wasps aren't the best team in the land at all. Cov on the other hand really believed they would be making a concerted effort to earn promotion last season and fancied their chances.

If Cov could gain promotion next season that would be great for the whole city and focus publicity away from Wasps and on to Cov.

Who actually doesn't want to work with sisu? Other than those that never wanted to work with the football club full stop?

Otis how is that the best option? It could take years and in the mean time the club go down the pan.

If they'd been drawn up they'd be all over the Observer by now. In this war of words we're currently experiencing from all sides they'd be no chance that opportunity would be missed.

The only time planning permission would be sought by a third party is when transfer is agreed as he well knows.

As the owner of the lease won't transfer it's idiotic to blame sisu.

Still Tony was defending the City of Rugby initiative not so long ago - weren't you Tony?

I haven't defended anything you idiot.

If we're in partnership with CRFC as you well know we're supposed to be on the BPA there's nothing stopping them getting plans in for the both of us. Even if they don't want to do it we can do it with their permission. I even posted a link earlier that explains it. You're to busy imagining that I'm defending the council to actually read what I've posted.

Coventry Telegraph said:
The chairman of Coventry Rugby Club has revealed plans have been drawn to expand the stadium and clear the way for Coventry City to move to Butts Park Arena.

Jon Sharp, chairman of Coventry RFC, said architects had produced stadium designs which could see the existing ground expanded to between 15,000 and 25,000 seats.

He will say if sisu had drawn plans then why haven't they shown everyone them as part of their plan.

If they did show them he would say -ha ha sisu bullshitting -showing plans knowing they can never get the leasehold.

That's thinking - the Tony way

No. That's your way of thinking.

The point is that if SISU were serious they'd be driving this forward.

The fact is that you and a few others have turned into RFC, hanging onto every SISU sound bite trying to convince yourself and others that they're serious about doing this.

Even a non league ground with temporary stands to tough it out would be better than propping wasps up thanks.

You really are a dumb ass. That would kill our club and barely scratch wasps. Still, you'd get to think you're clever sticking two fingers up to wasps so I guess that's all that counts.

Again back to the OP this article is a nonsense. Butts was never going to happen from day 1. Forget talking it won't happen anyway. Never was. Just got people clicking and talking.

Sisu have given up on the club and now no one wants to deal with them. I will say it again the only option is to stay at the Ricoh on a rental deal. No I don't want to rent and certainly not to wasps but there just simply is no other option.

That's exactly what Wasps would want.
Further cut the income and stress the club/Sisu.
The Wasps facilities would still be there for CCFC to return without Sisu.
Bring it on.

Both. The legals are pointless and have already done more damage to our club than any benefit that they ever could have hoped to achieve and that damage is still ongoing.

Forget what Wasps want. The majority of fans want them dropped and we should be pushing SISU to do it regardless. There's no gain from it, it's as simple as that.

Because that's what you'd love more than anything - to be owned by a franchising hedge fund with no respect for tradition, history or culture.

If this is true the club need to confirm it. We can then unite and shout at Wasps to get back round the table as the litigation isn't either in the clubs or it's owners hands. How can we fight for our club when it's owners can't be upfront and honest.

for the four hundredth time SISU are going nowhere, absolutely nowhere. They are in this to the bitter end.
Our only hope is to get rid of the council trying to DICTATE what the football club does. That is a ground out of the boundaries away from them and the Franchise pests from old London Town.
We would soon attract new support in and around the new grounds area and would replace the fans who we lose who didn't put their football club first , when the club needed them most.
In seven to ten years time we would have such a bright new future and an untapped fanbase
