What are peoples honest thoughts the club is worth? How much debt do we have? if the latter out weighs the first, they would have to be a cov fan to even consider buying the club. Other buyers would look at the issue with the council and stay well away, who would want to walk in to this mess!

Can't see it working, the plan is flawed in the logic it believes SISU is going to care where we are playing in 25 years time and about the future of the academy.

I don't give them that much credit.

That's it. People can't seem to grasp that SISU have pushed for the club to be self sufficient so they don't have to bother with it. No matter how much pressure is applied to them by screwing over the football club it won't make a single bit of difference.

My guess would be a connected party who hold the keys to make the football club a success.

Where are they going to find 600,000 from FA grants that helped run the club, why do you think Higgs has been used now. And its not self sufficient didnt they have to invest last year due to the gates not being high enough 3000 fans short per game.

Perhaps they are trying to distance themselves and differentiate themselves from the actual football club, given wasps and CCC and this Millerchump guy is blaming them.

The guy has just called for peace talks between all parties. I assume you are just assuming that is a lie. It may be, it may not be, but you simply do not know if it is sincere or not, but let's not that get in the way, eh.

At least state things as your opinion instead of posting everything as fact for once. With you it is always 'he is crap,' 'this is this,' 'that is that!' Hardly ever, ever hear you say 'in my opinion.'

Do you know this guy? How do you know for a fact it's just spin? Just an assumption on your part.

If we can have peace talks between all parties we should all be for it surely!

In words it seems so simple, but the tangle that is our club, Wasps and the council, we would need some serious anti-venom. The only one i could see is us gaining promotion, some nutter with bags of money may take the gamble then.

Make no mistake this is a serious attempt to remove them, so you would
have to presume there's already something in the offing.

We do seem all embracing as a city don't we.

What's the betting we wouldn't be had they been a lot less high profile. Looks like we are trying to buy success for the city.

That battle is for another day.

The battle right now is to our clubs survival. Which is being threatened by CCC, Wasps and every other scumbag involved.

Do you think it is possible? From my view, Wasps don't want peace, they are clearly killing both the Football and Rugby club, which originated from the city.
I would agree with you if they had been more open with us, and willing to negotiate but from the evidence I have seen, it is Wasps that are causing the problems with the support of the council. They don't want peace talks, they are getting everything they want

The council already have history of moving wasps in secretly behind everybodies back, it would be no surprise if they already had knowledge of someone behind the scenes ready to take over the club. Could also be secret agreements with csf and wasps re deals on usage of the ricoh and higgs centre already in place, who knows what may be in the pipeline with this shady council who sold us out the the idea of a west mids super council without the coventry public having a say

I disagree, this is the battle it's going on right now, if it's won we could rise again,
If it's lost the slow death lingers on.

He made this comment weeks ago. Wasps have told us to sling our hook unless as agree to their deal.

His statement means nothing - he has no influence.

Frankly all you seem to care about is staying at the Ricoh. We need to get out fast as have no future there.

Been in the back of my mind too. Might all just be fantasy thinking, but part of me still can't believe the council would have just dropped us in it like this and abandoned us and you have to remember, many of the city's councillors are Sky Blues supporters and fans.

Just keep wondering if there is something bigger behind all this and it is a case of trying to force Sisu out before then taking the club forwards and helping us out.

We can keep dreaming can't we!

Yep, get out of there as soon as possible and go ........

Err ........ where?

We play at the Ricoh, it's a stadium in Coventry and has been our home now for 10 years. Why wouldn't I want us to play there with no other feasible option out there?

I think talk of get out of there as fast as we can with nowhere to go is very, very foolish talk indeed.

Why would they push the city of rugby so hard to then try and get ccfc prospering? The only way will be if it's somebody to play nice with wasps.

Rise as what? Wasps' bitch?

SISU will not leave until they choose to. The fight right now is not with them. They now have more than sufficient evidence to move us out of Coventry again on a temporary move, the FL will have no choice to accept it.

If you are so interested in a fight - then why don't you back your club for once and focus on the common foe.

Would you say we haven't? Again IMO we seem to have attempted to get to the table and work with Wasps on many occasions, but they have made their intentions clear.
Do you think we should bend over backwards to accommodate them? (serious question)

Wasps want us out and they want the rugby league team in.

That's why an option at the Butts for example is vital or the club will not exist.

That's why all attention has to be focused on wasps.
