This year's FA cup is the 25th anniversary of us winnning it..........

I'd much rather people but their energies into trying to create a cup final day for the 3rd round match, where we try and fill the Ricoh and everyone bring things with them what they took to Wembley. I'm sure most fans still have the flags /rosettes / shirts etc that they wore that day.

How good would it be to see a flags around the Ricoh........

we could then get the ex players silett etc on the pitch.

Thats obvious we would all rather do this but it defeats the objective of getting Sisu out !!!!!!
Your suggestion would encourage them to think everthing is rosey and they are doing a good job !!!!!

it would be much better to have flags all around the outside of the ricoh, this would show we support the team but not sisu

Fill the ricoh? So 32k turn up at 15 quid a ticket equals 480k gate money. I think the saints get 50% so still a nice payday for the parasites. No thanks,we need to starve them. If everything was ok your idea would be a good one.

I am struggling with this if i am honest. The thought of the lads (youngsters especially) battling there hearts out against a far superior team to get us a cup run, in front of empty stands with only away support to make noise. Is not a good feeling. On the football side it is a shit draw, however if we had put the WHU performance into the saints game WE WOULD HAVE WON! so maybe just maybe being the cup we could pull it off. On the other side though, I F****n hate SISU and i understand the thinking of it, but a cup run is a bonus, so they would not have expected the revenue anyhow!! So do we boycott and hope it hurts em, or do we support the team......beacuse they DO DESERVE THAT!!

Maybe we get a double whammy that not only does it hurt Sisu but its a wake up call to some of the players who are not putting it in for the full 90mins.

I hear you mate... but I urge you to back this boycott and spread the word. Here's why.

  • It's not about 11 men on a field - it's about the trying to save the club that you ahve supported all your life. Your parents and grandparents alike. It's about making sure that this club is still here in 10 years after being neglected in a chase for areana ownership.
  • The players should respect our fight to bring stability to this football club
  • The players will come and go - they are not Coventry City fans
  • If we were boycotting every game without reason (No effect on SISU) then that would be wrong, but the ST and 1000 or so more are still at the game week in week out - so it's clear to the players that this a statement and does not reflect them.
  • The team plays reserve matches every week with no fans - are you really that important to how they play?

Every ounce of me abhors the SISU regime... but boycotting will not serve any purpose other than a token gesture of annoyance... SISU are hard nosed businessmen and I fear any form of boycott of the Saint fixture will not even register to them...
Surely attending to support the team ...and then the organisation of a peaceful but noisy protest outside the ground after the game is the best option and the free right afforded to all citizens of this country

I'm puzzled by your points... does 3 not counter argue 2?

i will never boycott a game.

I support the team not SISU so however bad the team are playing i will be there.

I dont agree with what SISU are doing to the club i love but my team needs mine & everyones support at every game & thats what i will continue to do.
