Its fairly obvious that if ACL are making a few quid out of the Catering etc from City matches then the more they make the more likely they will value the presence of CCFC and give them a better deal on the rent. Lets be frank, the football club, the council, ACL, the local pubs and food outlets all benefit from a busy Ricoh with maximum spend from the visitors in CV6. Maybe we should think along the lines of the whole Coventry economy and the benefits a succesful club would bring to the whole community.

Never purchased food from the Ricoh as I have always seen it as an overpriced rip off.

As for wanting SISU to own the ground that is a big hell no from me as first and foremost I am a Coventry City council tax payer so as long as the council have 50% of The Ricoh and we have events and gigs like Coldplay appearing there it only has a positive effect on my payments in keeping them low!

If it was sold to SISU they would remortgage it to the hilt the forego on maypents and we would loose a cash cow to some big conglomerate.

So you consider yourself a Council Tax before a Coventry City fan? Yes, I am sure that a few concerts at the Ricoh go a long way to keep your council tax down.

It has already been stated by the council that if a share of the stadium was sold that there would be certain contractual conditions put in place to ensure that doesn't happen.

And ACL and the players can testify just how good and trustworthy SISU are at honouring contracts they sign up to

I'll never forget the time I got told last season that "oh no, we don't heat the pies here...they're...err...umm..coming from the other place". When I asked where this other place was, and when they were coming, I got "Erm...well, the thing is.... I don't know."

I have never been a fan of SISU.

The people who were the most pro-SISU & Ranson are now the ones who are the most anti-SISU.

My food experience at the Ricoh tends to be:

Wait the whole of half time in a queue.
Get to the front.
Order a balti pie.
Neanderthal has to walk to the other end of the bar to check stock.
Returns to say they're out of balti pies.
I ask if they've got any steak and kidney (or whatever).
Neanderthal returns to other end of the bar to check.
Returns and says they do have one left.
"I'll have a steak and kidney pie please."
Neanderthal takes far too much of my money.
Neanderthal returns to retrieve steak and kidney pie.
Neanderthal presents me with a very sad looking pie.
I miss a goal returning to my seat.
Pie turns out to be chicken and mushroom.

I gave up this game a long time ago.

Never buy anything, to expensive, just nip in Tesco/Boots etc before the game, at least half the price. Food inside football ground is generally a rip off, although £1.50 for a coffee at Tranmere was not bad.

If they'd been beamed, they may actually be warm!

Yes I do consider myself a Council Tax payer first, why? I'd rather pay someone to do a half decent job to empty my bins and keep the streets safe than contribute to that bunch of feckless wonders we laughably call a football team. Go on bang your drum about sticking with them throught thick and thin well I don't buy it, I want to spend my hard earned money on being entertained not watching someone not giving a bugger who is on at least £1k a week because they have had their apperance fee removed! Go on say i'm not a true fan, maybe your right but sit down and watch the olympics/paralympics and watch people who compete who give damn about their sport! Our players care about one thing and one thing only money.
