Looking like it will sell out.

Not sure how many Plymouth will sell, but with the new segregation in place there is potential for this to be a new record crowd

Can't see Plymouth selling their allocation. 7 hour round trip on Boxing day at £37.
Tickets been on general sale to them since Saturday and loads left.

Plymouth have a fair away following but their resolve would need to be every bit as strong as our following.

Need to sort that balcony out, move the press area up there which would mean we could have extra seats downstairs

Agree, I think the demand is there as it's full of season ticket holders. I tried to move into the posh non package seats this season but sold out from renewal day.

Would that be a net loss of 1500 seats potentially?

Looks like a 30,000 type crowd. Something just 6 years ago we could only dream about.
My first ever City game in 1977 was a League cup replay v Liverpool and there were around 36,000 there. I thought it was always going to be like that

Nah, we'd gain more seats if they did it right. There is currently about 60 seats for press in this area:

Probably should be about 200-250 regular seats in this area. Stick the press in a corner of the balcony.

I would.

Piss poor results, inexcusable prices, at this time of year. Any number would be good.

I went to the first game at Anfield when I was still at school. About 8000 Cov fans there that night. We drew 2-2 and there was aggro outside afterwards. They tried to rob my mate’s coat and a few coaches had windows smashed. If I remember correctly it was a really foggy night and took ages to get home. Mum let me go into school late that morning and I wasn’t the only one that went in late

It was a memorable trip for several reasons including my brother's busted jaw by some scallywags mugging him for a jacket come coat and money after getting kicked out by the Bill!

I remember walking back to the coaches and they had all their 14/15 year old scallys kicking the back of your legs, if anyone turned round they were jumped on.
My mate put up with it all the way up to the coach, as he stepped onto the coach he turned round and lamped the little shit, coppers were nowhere, think I remember the windows going in as well

The balcony will be full on Saturday because all of Club Coventry which is sold out has been moved upstairs due to a hospitality event. The club have given blocks B&E for free to kids as part of the SBitC for xmas.

It was a memorable game for me too,got separated from my mates after the game, couldn't find where our coach was parked got approached by a group of approximately 10 Scouse yobs who asked me where I was from and one of them hit me in the face with a brick, busted my nose really bad (needed an operation) ,I managed to put that c**t on his arse though prior to breaking the world record for a 100 metres with a busted nose.
To this day i fucking hate Liverpool fans.

Actually quite looking forward this one; it's become a tradition in my family for my wife and parents to accompany me to the Boxing Day home games, and since it's been a good year for us we've splashed out on the Balcony Bar

I'm guessing really. But you can go onto their ticket site and get 20 tickets auto allocated next to each other in either Row WW (Normal Seating) or CC (Safe Standing, beginning at AA upto XX). Presume they sell them from row A upwards, that would indicate several hundred, if not a thousand odd, still available and it's been on general sale since last Saturday.

Personally think they may muster around 1000-1500, which is still good considering the circumstances

Plymouth fans are fantastic , however many they bring will be a great achievement , why can't they schedule all the most local derbies for boxing day?

I was there. If it's the one I'm thinking of we lost 0-2 . A Jimmy Case belter early on. We drew 2-2 at Anfield the Saturday before which was a fantastic result given how good Liverpool were at the time . Ian Wallace was on the programme front having scored at their place.
I can remember stuff like that but not what I had for dinner yesterday.

Better than mine then. I thought the 2-2 at Anfield was in the League Cup. It was definitely a night match because I didn't get home until about 3 in the morning due to the fog. I thought we got beat 6-0 at Everton the Saturday before.

It would help if he had a fucking haircut. Surprised he can see anything.

He looks like a cross between the dog off the Dulux advert, and Kurt Cobain.

Isn't the normal issue with the balcony that there are more seats there than the safe capacity of the hospitality suites?

Yeah I was at both games and I can picture the Jimmy Case goal very clearly. I doubt the first game was on a Saturday though - seem to recall it being a midweek night match? So disappointing to lose the home replay after such an awesome performance and atmosphere at Anfield.
