Boxing day always notoriously good crowds , I think most ST holders will be in attendance

Not necessarily. All clubs include them as revenue as they are required to, but not all clubs include them in the attendance figure.

Yea, you could only justify this from the clips point of view if we were sold out week in week out with load of people missing out.

ST still count towards the attendance as they are already tickets sold. Have you not seen the amount of empty seats in the family stand for a mid-week game yet the crowd is still announced as 24/25K when its clearly nowhere near that figure with actual bums on seats.

Another classic mistake by the club. The dining cut-off was 2 pm today so instead of just selling balcony tickets without dining they've now taken them off-sale. I hope someone sees sense and sells tickets only for the balcony otherwise that will be empty again.

Why? If a kid wasn't attending a night game, fans could 'sell' their seat back for a very small amount (fiver?) and the club could sell the ticket as normal.

Obviously not needed most weeks but it would open up seats it more in demand areas.

We probably don't have the tech to do it currently but it's something to consider in future. We would need it in the PL.

Lots of clubs do buy back schemes, wolves for example: How to resell a ticket through the ticket exchange

That's the last batch I think. Could possibly be sold out by the end of tomorrow.

We always have 2 empty seats next to us in block 29 but they’re never available to buy. I guess people have bought season tickets and are moving round to singer’s corner.

For crowd control reasons Wingy, the police require a mini segregation area around your seat.

Even if you got paid a few quid for a game you're forced to miss?

Not when we don't sell out, no.

However, the family zone is currently sold out but is nearly empty some night games. If it was 'resold' by the club, it could provide cheaper seats for families.

Yep, it's very common in the PL. Hence why you never see an empty seat at top stadiums.

Most clubs allow you to sell your seat at the going price.

Even Orient have a scheme, but only when it's close to a sell out. You get £15 back off your next ST

They have a deal via a private company who fans have accused of charging a big mark up in those tickets.

Think Chelsea changed there policy of this scheme via Viagogo, who would charge a big mark up and give the ticket holder lesser value. They got rid of Viagogo.
