Best match I've ever seen was the 4-3 against Spurs in 1986. But I've just looked it up and it would appear we were away at QPR on the Boxing Day, and Spurs at home the next day on 27th. Hard to believe we played on consecutive days?!

So I expect this one's going to be chalked off by bloody VAR.

Never thought about it before, but the Norwich 5-4 and the Spurs 4-3 were both Dec 27th after we played on Boxing Day.

Maybe we should play on successive days more often if those two games are anything to go by!

The 5-4 was my favourite ever home game. I've never been able to find any tv footage of the game. Fantastic goal by Ian Wallace and a great last min penalty save by Jim Blyth

Likewise.

I’d love to see Wallace’s goal again. I was watching from the West End and in my memory he connected with the overhead kick about five feet off the ground.

It was an amazing goal bicycle kick ? For some reason I was sat in the main stand that day. Just cannot find any footage sadly.
