It's not the same ticketing policy as in previous years. In league 1 or 2 days of purchasing up to 6 tickets per season ticket holder are long gone.

This season it's been a max of 2 and sometimes just 1 per season ticket holder.

Example being Barnsley away 2019. 6 per season ticket holder. This season 2.

So it's an even bigger privilege to able give these supporter clubs priorty access.

With 8000 phase 1 season ticket holders ....who assume priorty.

It's a disgrace supporters clubs get circa 10% of priorty to tickets to this particular Bournemouth game.

My understanding about being phase 1 was that we got a) discounted prices, b) helped the team plan early, c) a free shirt, d) £25 voucher to the shop e) a ticket for all home matches. This was in part as a reward to paying for a season ticket last year when we had only an ifollow pass having paid for our season tickets. At no point do I ever remember it being access over others to get away tickets.

The irony of course is as phase 1 ticket holders, why do you think you should get access over other season ticket holders or indeed non-season ticket holders, some of whom can't always travel or commit to all home games? Are they less of a fan than you? Is it because you committed funds early or assume you've spent a chunk of money that entitles you? I keep reading it, but no different to those corporate members, who by the same analogy have spent more and deserve a higher priority. If you don't want a hierarchy where you're not at the top of the list, then it should be a general free for all for all ticket, when most of this complaining is because someone has something they don't.

Edit: sorry London not aimed directly at you, just the latest one I replied to and a genuine question for all phase 1 on here keep being quoted (of which I am a part btw).

Imagine if bus companies ran such a club/loyalty scheme.
Pay for your bus pass and on a snow day when there's a skeleton service they only let pass holders get on the bus.
When demand outstrips supply loyalty schemes just mean hoarding of access.

You get first access because you’ve purchased a package that includes first access. Completely different than getting first access above everybody due to back room deals.

I do think the phase 1 and phase 2 holders should get access to away tickets at the same time.

I also believe membership clubs should not have priority/guaranteed access to tickets.

Its funny how members of clubs who get access to tickets not just CCFC matches don't appear to have an issue with it. The dodgy ticket scheme from the club explains a lot when the same fans appear at away matches all the time.

Very weird example. Busses don't have supporters for a start. They provide a service and if it was dreadful you would find other means. Football clubs can be terrible and supporters remain, look at us all here today. And to be honest, regardless, I would expect those who have shown 'loyalty' to your hypothetical bus service, to get priority over those who don't.

In fairness I hadn't actually seen that wording having paid without reading the detail, but I guess they could argue that the point still stands as it's first priority of those not set aside hat were available to purchase. Otherwise it could have been interpreted as above directors and players family etc.

The first part of your post I understand and sympathise with regards to who does or doesn't have access.

The second part about the same ones attending all the away games is ludicrous. Have you not thought there might be other reasons for this? Particularly as 99% of the time obtaining tickets isn't an issue? Should they not be allowed to attend this one because they've been to all the others? Fk me there's some corkers on here, but that's gold!

You didnt have to have a season ticket last year to be phase 1 this season. I had a ST last season and renewed immediatly but one of my mates only got his ticket in the summer and didn't have one last year. Both are phase 1

The club did communicate out that phase one would get priority access on away tickets. Whether anyone agrees with it or not this was part of what people paid for.

No im saying this explains why when we have small allocations at matches. You often see the same people/same people bragging on Facebook they have tickets. Funny how they always have physical tickets before any have been posted.. They must be really luckily with Ticketmaster to all ways get tickets.

I'd acknowledged the second part after Shmmeee posted the link above. The first part in the same article says that of those who paid for Ricoh Return Membership, there was priority to people who had either a ST in the last Ricoh year or Stans first. I can't imagine many weren't both, but there is a distinction in that article.

When was the last time you wanted to go to an away game and couldn't get a ticket? I'm genuinely interested before I call out your bullshit. The only time I can recall ever having an issue was Exeter when their stand was down and they only gave us a few hundred.

I'm on the side of they shouldn't be getting tickets but this is an odd take. I have never got a ticket through anything other than Ticketmaster and I am, very luckily, yet to miss out in say the last ten years of travelling regularly. The only game where there was a limited amount and I didn't try was the Exeter game as I couldn't make it. But it happens like once or twice a year max, and on each occasion I have been fortunate enough to get one. I think you are looking at something there that isn't happening.

Luton this season went pretty quickly too.

Be interesting to know how many went direct to various supporters clubs for that one.

What I'm saying is there is a group of people. Who constantly have physical tickets before anyone else bragging on Facebook most away matches. They are clearly getting them via other channels than the club direct.

I don't care if a fan can go to 1 or all away matches. Just tickets should be fairly distributed via official means. Not via fan clubs who appear to get priority.

So basically my issue is with the dodgy priority the club has been giving some fan groups.

Where is this article? Being genuine now because if they have said that its shit, because there would be a lot less than 8000 of us trying for that initial stage (Supporters clubs aside)

Edit: sorry if you have shared it already and ive missed it.

Edit again: ignore that, didnt see the link just the pic. on there now
