Pity there supporters could not celebrate this at the end of their game as Brentford were playing later.
At first did not iunderstand the BBC claim they were promoted but discovered the two teams who could overtake them actually play each other next week, so both can't win.
Well done to the Cherries, 8 straight wins we can only dream about having mustered only two this whole season (after I think 5 straight defeats).
No south coast teams to play next season!!
But we have gained Port Vale - Listening to my local radio, the fans were singing "There is only one Micky Adams". !!! 12,500 crowd celebrating their promotion. A record for them since going all seater.
ROD nearly spoiled the party when putting the Cobblers ahead but a last minute own goal equaliser from a ex Vale player got the vital point.
The good news the away end houses 4,500 so plenty of space for the SBA.
