in truth, they got out at the right time, it could have got very one dimentional, loved all of the "bottom live" shows, but got a little concerned at the last one that it was being dragged out

For me the concern was that Rik may be a bit too brain-damaged to pull off all those perfect timings, meaning serious saucepan-inflicted damage to one of them. But he was bloody hilarious in that Comic Strip Blair Diary thing, so maybe his brain grew back?
