Dance with the Devil and you get what you deserve.

Looks like we are playing in a non- league stadium next season.

I hope all you attendees are happy with that,

So by boycotting it will stop Northampton from being relegated?

Shame he's gone as he was taking them down. Their results will undoubtedly pick up now.

So if they were in the championship we'd be playing in a championship stadium?

That means the ricoh was a league one stadium anyway, why would we want to go back? No ambition.

Cheers for that. Check out my and other posts on there in the thread about Coventry and tell me there aren't cobblers fans who feel bad about what's happened.

Ps, our form has got absolutely nothing to do with the groundshare. It's been down to the players and manager.

Am I the only one who thinks that sisu could have engineered this whole thing....

..sack Boothroyd he gets employed at Northampton.
...stop paying rent and move out of the Ricoh
...groundshare with Northampton
...Boothroyd takes them down (they engineer his sacking as a red herring)
....we remain in Northampton as the only league side, steal there fans and refranchise...

Pausing only to kill all the first borns and cancel Christmas?

No need to wear a tin foil hat here. Nothing to do with the Northampton board, our board or the curse of SISU. A manager who has had one game plan all his career got sacked after that plan was worked out by the entire division his team played in and the results fell away causing him to be sacked. It's happened to him everywhere he's ever been, and the only job he's not been sacked from was Colchester (where the results had started to turn against him) because he jumped ship to join us.

They were the only bloody ones who wanted to march on the football league pre-season.

Our fans would rather stand in front of a Hungry Horse breakfast sign.

I get what you're saying ,but IIRC they did get a trip sorted may have been to Preston where the FL were meeting ,did'nt get a massive take up but I'd wager the Hungry Horse contingent were the majority on the coach . However Its still not too late and the FL/FA currently need targeting with the recent media focus.

I know right, I understand the anger at the NTFC chairman for allowing/making it possible to take our club out of the city. Yet I don't wish ill on the fans of NTFC and their club for their chairman's actions.

If all fans judged others on the actions of their owners then we'd be amongst the most hated in England

Also if ACL managed to persuade Northampton saints to move to the Ricoh the same puritans would be so excited they'd need a change of underwear.

Now If the team were playing there that could'nt happen really could It ,or at least It did'nt. Now If they had run a Rugby team alongside the football ,who knows we may have been able to halve the rent.

I dunno, you seem a decent sort (can I be more patronising? ) some you wonder if they do genuinely revel in our misery and see it as a chance to push their own agenda however, almost like we'd rather waste time on the playground names and let everything else rot so we have no football club.

I think you're right to an extent ,It can dilute the focus from where It should be ,but It's not entirely unexpected that It goes that way. Me.well even I can fall occasionally into paranioa fold ,The Spelling Issue, well that usually comes from trying to type in a dim lit room ,or Indeed I'm a dim wit.

Yeah, I took the spelling bit out as that was indeed how to be even more patronising

I think a lot of our fans were disappointed at the lack of any objection from the majority of the Northampton fans who seemed fine with the plan so long as they got some money, especially after other sides fans, particularly Walsall, had been vocal with their objections to their own board.

Wonder how the groundshare contract is structured and if Northampton have a get out. Cardoza claimed that Bothroyd has no issue with the groundshare. What happens next season if the new manager is against it?

There was a poll on our forum
and it was about 50/50.but it was after the event. Fans these days have little say. Looking at some of the nutters out there I think that's sometimes for the best.

Andy King (don't know of him) taken temporary charge with the assistance of Tim Flowers.

Always liked Flowers. Treated badly by SISU (as have many others including the fans since then).

Oh its great SISU are blamed for everything at City, even when they lose but no credit when they win, and now at Northampton.
No wonder Maquire left with the altitude of some supporters.
Who on earth would want to come??

he left because he was recalled by his parent team, Championship Sheff Wed.

Pretty sure it wasnt down to the fans attitude. Why do they fans always get the blame ?
