According to the Middlesborough coaching staff they hope to bring Juke in on loan when the window reopenes on Thursday.

Surely we will tell them to do one, but then this is city so you never know............

Don't worry as Onye Igwe said in his letter 'we have declined substantial offers for Lukas in order to remain competetive at this level'........oh shit i guess he's going then?

sounds like what sisu would do - turn down £1m for him, but let him play there for free anyway

dont see how we can afford to let him go ............ Eastwood too fat, Platt is a tree, Sheffers not yet fully fit, McDonald not yet ready, ODonovan not up to it ........... but then very little surprises me at CCFC

certainly some inaccuracies in the story because we never received a seven figure sum for Dann, it was 10% of anything over 3.5m

Loaning him wouldn't be beneficial to SISU, sounds like bs.

Depends if there is a decent loan fee attached. I think Stoke paid Newcastle £500k to loan ameobi plus his wages for half a season the year they got promoted.

Would be if it was a loan in view of a permanent deal in Jan....depends what contact his agent has had with boro in the background

Don't get me wrong but i fear all this speculation is turning his head from comments he's made,we should hold onto him though ,he's a top hold up ,lay off man.

Boro can suck on my shite pipe, we told them no when they made a bid for him, why would we let him go on loan?! Very poor business etiquette on Boro's part trying to turn his head, I guess there's none left in football these days anyway.

Seems to be a story based on on ifs and buts, I imagine its a story planted by Boro to try and unsettle him.

been wondering this for a while.

How do we know other than the fact everyone on here states it like a fact that we only got a percentage of anything over £3.5m on Dann?

We should report Boro to the FA for tapping up. Hardly subtle is it!

Would almost make sense with the big rush to get players like Freddie and Platt fully fit with a loan with cash for Juke. Wouldn't shock me to get rid of a player that we desperately need.

Certainly the bovine population of Middleborough will be feeling that their posteriors will be safe if Juke ever takes up the banjo.

All I can say is that we held off on a bid for him and SISU and Thorn have expressed they are happy to be able to have done that and the Juke is highly rated by Thorn and a part of what he is doing.
So now a loan deal in the offering? Sounds rather bizarre to me. I think this would usurp all that has been said by SISU if such a deal happened so can't see much truth in it tbh. Certainly not without a replacement coming the other way. That could only mean a deal with a permanent move in January on the proviso we get our other man?
That for me would show weakness on our part and weaken Thorn's recently taken stance on the Juke. Most here are looking forward to him linking up with Cody aren't they?

If it happens I think SISU would see the venom of the fans return again and this time even Thorn will lose some credibility.
Is that really worth it and shake the confidence of the side too?

Really don't see any merit in the validity of this story - would make little sense financially as Juke wouldn't command a high loan fee and doubt his wages are significant enough to need to be got of the wage bill. I would see this more as a local paper dreaming up a story where there isn't one and maybe its a long process of destabilising the player but its a long way to go before January. Much as I dislike the way SISU run OUR club I fail to see how they would benefit from such a move - but we shall wait and see.

If it's a loan with a view to perm in Jan then it will benefit SISU just as much as any other player sale.

I hear that Dulally tried to force Jon Parkin on Thorn as part of the Ben Turner deal with Cardiff but did not get his way.
Parkin turned up for his medical at the training ground and Thorn knew nothing about the possibility of the dealat that stage.
Dulally also agreed a deal with Boro on Juke and he had his medical but when the Parkin deal fell through he went back on his deal with Boro and just turned his phone off. According to the agent involved, that consideration for others (turning his phone off) has not done a great deal to enhance Dulally's already poor reputation in the footballing world.
However, the agent involved also says Juke will play in the Premiership at some point in the future and clubs, other than Boro, are sniffing around because they know SISU is desperate for cash!

May be down to player and agent if dorothy's post is to be believed paxman, seems credible in that Jon Parkin never could fit with thorns ethos ,really believe he stood his ground on that one.

The one thing you can't do in this is say Middlesborough have actd to usettle him as we have done enough public speaking in relation to him.

Hmmm.

"Coventry manager Andy Thorn was prepared to let Jutkiewicz leave after lining up deals for Cardiff’s Jon Parkin and Norwich’s Cody McDonald.

The deal for Parkin, however, fell through and that contributed to the price hike for Jutkiewicz."

Think a few of us were hinting at this. If true should we still apologise to Sisu for "resisting offers" for him? :thinking about:

Paxman, if you check back, I was implying that they may well have been trying to sell him so this 'resisting offers' was probably bull.

Check back and you will see this is what I was saying and suggesting.
