Wright motm for the hat trick
Saka Very close second, immense tonight
Onyeka a very good debut
Lati and Thomas just headed and cleared it
Mve struggled but then that tackle second half
Emc made wrong decisions but pressed well
Rudoni stayed central and was much better
Rushworth calm hands again

Wright MOTM, but Sakamoto the clear MOTM in that first half

I thought Lati did very well. FTT was immense and very good shifts from Rudoni and Mason-Clark.

This was smash and grab. We were actually a bit lucky. Could easily have lost 3-1. Lots of effort but lacking in skill particularly to keep possession.

Saka and Wright absolutely superb. Onyeka excellent debut (first action as a City player a sweeping pass out to the wing). Thomas and Lati excellent.

Grimes first touch is a bit weird atm and hes a bit sloppy ball keeps bouncing off him .. but he made 2 unbelievable inteceptions today that made me wet cant lie

If you're comparing this to performances of late then this was light years ahead.

I don't think anyone played badly, the level of effort from every single player was a step up. Was really impressed with Sakamoto in particular and would have given him man of the match if it wasn't for Wright's hatrick.

Individually and collectively brilliant. I wouldn't put anyone lower than a 7.5/8. Keep it up boys.
