Don't suppose the Premier Inn thanked me for not taking too much advantage of the all-you-can-eat breakfast this morning?

Nice to see a good news story in a newspaper! Truth is most football fans are the same, they just want to have an enjoyable weekend with family and friends sing a few songs and have a drink. I found all the Boro fans to be friendly reasonable people, let's hope the 2 ties are good entertaining games with no trouble. PUSB let's get to Wembley

Middlesbrough were brilliant host's yesterday, we were in the Central Bar, 50/50 split of fans and no issues what so ever.
Stewards & police excellent, take note West Midlands Police always over zealous when handling football, we are paying customers.

Got to say yesterday was the best away day I've had for hospitality of the home fans, they were a lovely bunch. Had a couple come up as soon as we left the station to ask if we knew which pub we were going to and give us directions. Good bit of banter between everyone walking away from the ground about who would win next week. Then ended up in a pub where we sat with a group of them for a couple of hours and chewed the fat about the game and the upcoming ones, they insisted on buying us a round and swapping numbers to potentially have a pre-match pint next Wednesday.

Fans at most clubs are fine but there are always knuckle draggers unfortunately some in their 50s and even 60s including here.

Was talking to the Middlesborough Ticket Office earlier to sort parking for Wednesday, great banter with the guy on the phone. He said we'd been the best away support by far - so loud, non-stop singing, great natured football banter and no trouble whatsoever. He loved it. He finished by saying he hopes they score seven on Wednesday to which I replied that's fine provided we score 1 more . BTW their stadium parking is only £6 - ours is £13

Did all this fun and banter really happen?
I didn’t see anything on the news
