Aidy thanks returning support
Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has thanked those fans who came back to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

The home support improved by around a third as with a packed away end, the 3-2 defeat to Leeds was watched by a record crowd of 28,184.

Speaking to the CT, Boothroyd said: "We thank all those fans who came back to have a look at us.
"They were brilliant and I hope that they can see from that second half what we're all about, what we're starting to build here

"We did show spirit, there was a never-say-die attitude, and on another day we would perhaps have got a point out of it, so I hope they take that memory away as well as the result
"We're in this for the long haul, We want to play in front of big crowds every home game because everything here is set up for it.
"Fans want to see a winning team and they want to see players who have a go, who work their socks off even when they're not playing particularly well.
"If you can get a team like that and everybody in the club is heading in the right direction, you start filling stadiums.
"I've been in a situation where a whole town gets behind a club.
"We had to take a few knocks, got a few bloody noses along the way but once you get that momentum it can become an unstoppable force.
"We want to give our supporters something to talk about at work, something to brag about when they're talking to Villa, Blues and Leicester fans, and that's one of the reasons why we work as hard as we do.
"But what will be, will be - at the end of 46 games we will finish where we deserve to finish."
