No Nigerian coming to Coventry
Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has laughed off reports that they are interested in signing Nigerian Babawo Mohammed.

A Nigerian website - Supersport.com had been running stories that Mohammed, who plays for Nigerian side JUTH had trials at City and had impressed but he arrived too late for the last transfer window.

However, Aidy Boothroyd dismissed the stories and joked with the CT: "It is coming up to that time of year when the Christmas lights go up and people make silly comments, but it has got nothing to do with us.

"There is absolutely no truth in that whatsoever."

I don't suppose we're signing Kiki Mushampa's brother Kris in December then.
