Think Wednesday are on the verge of a transfer embargo.

I'm also on board the Wrexham relegation bus. It's a huge gap now. They'll go into it thinking they're going to conqueer the world but the reality is their best striker has only ever been a league 1 striker (Sam Smith) and their other players like James Mclean are way past it. Of course, they will make signings. but at a big price i'll be watching.

It seems highly unlikely they’ll be a top 10 side and way more likely they’ll be in the relegation battle. They have come up with an L1 side valued at 13 million euros!! I would imagine they’d need to spend £40m+ to assemble a side fighting for top 10. Alternatively they can bring-in old war horses on huge salaries for free but surely this is not a sustainable model….

Think we're more likely than Boro

Carrick makes them the best team in the league... unfortunately for them it only lasts about 2-3 months. Our squad is also better as it stands & they're going to lose Hackney

Birmingham again we're a lot better as it stands - very much depends on their signings

There’s absolutely no way birmingham will finish in the top 6

IF they spend their pot of gold well, I can see them getting automatic promotion.

Where Leicester finish will depend almost entirely on whether they get a points deduction and,if so, how many. They could probably cope with the loss of half a dozen points and still get in the top two. A dozen points and I’d fancy them for the playoffs.

I reckon it will be a tough season for us but if we can strengthen over the summer, with a few good acquisitions and not losing more than one of our top players, I’d back us for the playoffs again.

There are too many teams with a lot more money than us for us to make the top two.

Owls haven't been paid again, their boss wants out, they're rumoured to be under a transfer embargo (my owls mate says it's going to be for 3 windows but he's very negative about the owner) so watch that space too.

Wrexham’s squad has a bunch of players that dropped to L1 because they either weren’t good enough for the championship or couldnt cope with it anymore
- Ollie Rathbone
- Matty James
- James McClean
- Jay Rodriguez
- Steven Fletcher

Wrexham is get relegated the to get on.

Lowest xG of the 15 teams who’ve come on the past 5 years.

Sit and wait for the relegation market to go live, and then fill your boots

They really won't. They will bring a lot of players in. Won't go as mad as Blues in transfer market though.

Not that I’m buying this for a second, but there’s a bit of online chatter that they want to bring in Christian Eriksen.

Why not? They have a lot of money to spend

Having a lot of money doesn't mean success, it's how you use it. Sheff Utd last year spent their money on attracting free agents who had premier experience and rather spend £5 million on transfers gave the player a good salary and it nearly worked. Strangely, when Sheff Utd did spend money the player is usually a flop, discounting Gus. Ipswich went up because of their manager and his style of play, a very shrewd coach, and they will challenge again, whereas Blues manager is not in the same mould. Wrexham and Blues are seen as being threats only because they have famed owners which is a very strange way to gauge if a team will perform or not.
