I still remember the booing after the 4-1 loss away at Oxford. Easily still to this day one of the worst performances ive ever seen from the city. And Jordan Willis' missus took to twitter afterwards to call us all glory supporters
Cov fans? Bottom of L1? Glory supporters?
I bet Jordan felt a right plum with her doing stupid shit like that!

Jesus, I had just about forgotten that horror show as well. There’s been some difficult ones.

Losing 3-1 at Tranmere during the Northampton isolation was also eventful

My lad was 5 and that Tranmere away game was his first ever away game.

The Northampton Isolation. I like that, surely a documentary should be made of those troubled times.

The savage booing of Kevin Kyle certainly helped his confidence no end.

I dont agree with booing, but can understand fans frustration who travel week in week out all across the country.

Whats the alternative? Did that performance deserve applause? Im not sure. Its a difficult situation.

It's probably not those that are doing the booing tbf.

wev‘e not had this type of pressure before, players or fans, and neither seem to be dealing with it, nervy Performances and a nervy atmosphere at home, fans need to step up aswell, never heard a cov away end that quiet beforbut they’ve had to put up watching us away since December, go to feel for them

Always been a gripe of Mine, Lampard just been asked about it. Question for people who do it, is it a reactionary "weve lost and need to let them know im not happy as its cost me 30 quid" thing, or a "I think this might motivate them", thing? Surely now of all times the players and fans need to be cohesive and aim for the common goal? I have just never understood the whole booing thing. Maybe im too nice.

I think the years in the premier league in relegation battles was a very similar pressure for players and fans of the day! fans got behind the team and definitely didn't Boo!

Counterproductive. So we should celebrate the current form? Or just not boo at all? It sends a message to the players and Frank that the performance was unacceptable. You can’t expect unconditional unwavering support despite doing badly. My boss wouldn’t pull me into his office and tell me I’m doing a great job if I wasn’t.

Soft cunts. They’re are professionals and highly paid.

Grow up. You aren’t the players‘ boss and if you were your boss doesn’t fucking boo you does he?

Saw a 9 year old kid and his Dad giving the (top of the table) players the middle finger on the final whistle yesterday.

if you’re not enjoying this season (even since December), maybe supporting a football team isn’t for you.

A few weeks ago I watched the MOTD Coventry vs Bolton 1967 (Promotion year), its the one where Ronnie Rees beats 5 players to pass to Gould who thumped it home. But Bolton equalised near the end. At the end of the game there were a few boos, then they show the league table we were still top!

I didn’t hear any booing but the Atmosphere on Saturday was the most toxic that I can remember since we lost away to Northampton a few years ago.
A lot of people seemed edgy and there were at least 3 fights involving own fans in the ground.
Its ridiculous when we are top of the league and weren’t even losing at the time any of them blew up.
we have some serious wankers going at the moment.

I’m watching the Sunderland vs Burnley game, god Burnley are horrific, but I’ve noticed some creative booing.
Every time a Burnley player pass it backwards you can hear the Burnley fans booing, which I think is a great way to show your frustration at such negative football.
No way would I want us to go up and put in such lameless, negative crap performances like this, and I’ve seen them a few times this season and they are dreadful, boring to watch.

This discussion crops up a lot. Not something I'm in favour of but it is after all a football crowd not a rehearsal for Mastermind so not worth getting too upset about

When I was a steward at Highfield Rd, one of my fellow stewards had a right go at Gordon Strachan after a particularly poor performance. He was sacked that week. The steward, not Strachan.
The ranting didn't seem to have any effect on Strachan. He just walked off down the tunnel and we carried on having a shit season!
