Fantastic tackle imo, the Man City player who was tackled and the team mates reaction played a part in the red card.

Won’t be long before the sports non contact.

And then Jordan Shipley will be world class and be sold for 100 million.

Haven't seen it. Was it a crunching tackle?

Red card I reckon as he wasn't in control due to both feet being off the floor....according to FA Rules.

Christ, isn't even a foul.

This one is worse which wasn't a sending off (Id say thats a yellow and was correct if he got booked).

Needs to be some consistency.

Never a foul, his trailing leg is on the floor which gives him control. Sometimes I'm glad we're not at that level.

They should just change the law to studs up tackles are a red to stop the confusion, I'd rather it wasn't like that but nobody knows what's a foul and what isn't.

People should just stop being pussies.

Gone are the days where you can smash somebody and get up and walk off without looking back. It's just below goal level excitements.

Kompany should have been red too, as both his feet are off the floor as he starts his leap/lunge or w/e you wanna call it.

For me bony

A - wins the ball
B - his leg is on the floor
C - his momentum does mean he goes unto the player
D - silva stays down avd makes it look worse than it was
E - he plays the rest of the game as he waaabt injured
F - no way Man City get a red card for a similar tackle
