About to go into administration.

No EFL club has gone into administration in over 5 years. We were the last to do so.

Wage costs far too high

Having a fancy new out-of-town stadium didn't do them much good either.

Shame and they didn’t seem to be a club that spent beyond their means although I always seem to remember them buying well known players on the wrong side of 30. Hope they sort themselves out

Why would Jay Jay Okocha go to Bolton if not for money. Djorkaeff, Anelka etc likewise

All true but it’s the money spent on David Wheater, Jay Spearing and Nigel Reo-Coker that’s probably more pertinent to their current plight.
