Seems crazy that a club like Bolton could go to wall over the purchase of a hotel. Surely, if the takeover for the club is agreed you would finalise the deal. If the hotel is subject to a separate administration process that is 6-8 weeks away from completion well so be it. The administrator for the hotel, given the circumstances, is bound to look favourably on the bid from the football club owners in any case. It's an insane situation.

Does that mean we get a 3-0 win?

Interesting he wants FFP to be enforced more to stop overspending of money that club's don't have.

Think we will beat them 5-0, so better for our goal difference.

You keep piping up but I wasn't talking about that in the first place. You do post some very odd content. Clearly says a lot about your character.

Wouldn't it just become a 44 game season with effectively 23 teams if they didn't start?

Would think that if they game it as 1-0 for that game any futures ones would be the same.
Bolton Wanderers' game against Brentford cancelled and Bees given three points

Just read on twitter that Bolton even owe 6 grand to their match day pie suppliers. Didn’t realise they were in that much shit lol

(Waiting for SkyBlueCRJ to tell me I’m wrong because I didn’t detail what flavour pie they haven’t paid for, then pointlessly argue his case for 24 hours)

They can play their Under 18s and Under 23s though. All depends whether they also go on strike I guess.

Portsmouth started the season about five years ago with eleven players on the pitch and two players on the bench. Their assistant manager was one of them.

No friendly again this weekend for Bolton. This time Oldham cancelling. Really doubting they’ll start the season now. So annoying only been waiting 3 months for an away day

‘Actually not a bad side’ – Plenty of Bolton Wanderers fans react to latest team selection

They might not be as weak as people expect, especially if the takeover goes through soon.

If they don't make the start of the season, fixture list will be reduced by their 2 games. If they go bang during the season then the EFL will remove all their results. It was only the one game they didn't play last season so result was awarded against them.
(Thinking aloud!)

I thought the players were on strike?

If they are playing behind closed door games then it takes the piss for fans a bit.

Yeah. And a couple of people I know were acting like they were about to die. Because of how tight lipped the club was about it so they didn’t know teams or scores. Boo hoo
