I am stupid, you are correct. So it’s got to be the 0.07 one right?

It was just before we scored it doesn’t look like any of those but if it’s 0.2 that’s a chance scored 2 times out of 10 and whoever said 10 out of 10 is an idiot

Really, binks looked frustrated as fuck when it happened. He skied it from 2 yards. The bar with him has got that low now the fans actually think it’s a hard chance. This is comedy.

Personally, I think it’s a systems issue rather than a personnel one at this moment in time.

First half against Middlesbrough, we were playing too safe in possession at times and not advancing the ball. Lo and behold, Simms isn’t involved in the game.

Second half, we play balls in behind the defence for Simms to run in onto. Lo and behold, he was a lot more involved and was a nuisance before Wright got his payback and pinched his goal.

Overall, we need to brave and put passes in behind defences for all of our forward players to run onto. We’ve got pace and energy in all of them.

Disclaimer: I was glad both Simms and Wright pinch each others goals - both showed good strikers instincts to finish the chance.

I’m not 100% convinced Simms’ shot was going in

Would be great to see more long-range across-ground through balls being tried to get Simms involved in the game more. As good as we’ve been recently we’re still reluctant to try those 50/50 through balls to the forwards. Thomas tried a couple to Sakamoto and Van Ewijk last game and it worked really well, got the ball into attack straight away and had Boro under pressure but we don’t try it enough, only seems to be Thomas and the odd other player trying it.

Quit while you’re not too far behind
It was about 10 yards out and he could easily have scored

Simms will never been prolific he’s very similar to Tyler Walker but a bit faster. The one over the bar at Middlesbrough was horrific. Wright has been better wide, he’s contributing to a lot. This team doesn’t really need an out and out striker as goals are coming from everywhere. We just need someone better than Simms.

Similar to walker? Polar opposites

Simms isnt quick and played wide vs Ipswich I prefer him uptop

the way we play atm the striker is a thankless task in our team, godden hasn’t got the legs to play it and simms is best option atm

simms and wright will be ok but neither is vik

Simms was pretty strong down the right second half against PNE.
