The same predictable individuals.

Sometime you wonder if they really are City fans.

I remember Bobby Gould both as a player and manager. Whatever you think of him skill-wise, he is still Mr Sky Blue. He was born and raised in Coventry and absolutely loves the club. So what if his managerial period with us wasn't brilliant. That's in the distant past. He's a great bloke who only has the future of this club at heart so shitty, snide remarks from people who don't even remember him being here is totally wrong and unfair.

Or do they.

It is questionable.. I don't see it hence not worth replying to them.

My thoughts exactly but hey what do I know?
Some people just like finding faults in all our ex managers or players.
I know we haven't had a lot of success but most did the best they could.
Then again i am not one for slagging off players or managers, whether it is Gordon Milne or Andy Thorn.
:thinking about: Then again there was Craig Bellamy.

What I don't understand is the only one's they don't slag off are the owners who are destroying the club.

Never saw Gould do this.. quite the opposite. Infact was it not his players Curtis and Sillet had inherited that won the FA Cup.

The core of the team yes. They changed the style of play - which is why Regis suddenly became a good player again, and built a strong teamwork ethic

He does indeed (love the club). In fact so do many of our ex players, many of whom used to attend games (even with season tickets). But they will be classed as spongers living on past glories/were no good anyway by some.

Don't tell me he was a legend. Personally I think Sillett and Oggy are bigger legends and Gould treated them shamefully

Still he comes from Cov so that's ok I suppose.

BG is a true Coventry legend.

Your depth of your cynicism towards this club is only outweighed by your blind loyalty to SISU.

Hang your head in shame.

One final statement on this.

Questioning my support for the club as I am critical of Gould is interesting but ultimately gross hypocrisy.

I laid out my reasons for why, in my opinion, his tenure was poor.

Yet and yet it's not that long ago a far more successful and esteemed figure from the clubs history was attacked with far greater vehemence and personal slander. He was called senile, our of touch, a scab and a sisu puppet. Yet when I look at those threads only a handful defended John Sillett against such disgraceful remarks - did any of you?

Just trying to keep it down to 140 or whatever.

Leave Bobby alone.

Sent from my phone using my chubby sausage fingers so please excuse any errors.

It wasn't meant as serious criticism, it was tongue in cheek! Did you read my later posts?

I thought stupid idea, what can he do?
He talks to her and comes away thinking she`s a lunatic without a clue or she sells him a great future with a long term goal, who knows what it would be.
He has a huge pull in and around Coventry, he can still get more people interested in the shit going on, get a few more interested and to take note.

Go for it, tell the world she`s a loony without a clue and needs to go or "coughs" she suddenly found genius and has a great vision for the club.
Any publicity is good publicity and he could actually create a little more noise than most of us.

If he does meet her, he will be turned on unless he says she's a psycho.

There's a fair chance he would say that, even Fisher says Joy is bonkers.
