So that's it then Bobby has spoken. He knows of the boycott and says its a bad idea starving the cov of income.

I wonder when some of these people last purchased a ticket themselves?

Just tried to listen on iplayer ,restricted for some reason, useless ,however he made referrence to his own tenure and how you can end up making bad decisions due to mental and physical fatigue,i thought one of the main principles of good management is to remove yourself, stand back evaluate ,then deliver through clarity.

Show me a man who doesn't make a mistake and I'll show you a liar.

agree and I think Bobbies love of the skyblues is great, but on the boycott I think he has become a little removed from the feeling of the fans.

Boycott the Southamton game

SISU OUT

Can't believe Bobby spoke out against the boycott, tsk. He is clearly a bit out of touch. That said, he has been for about 20 years now.

I like Bobby but there is a sense of being 'out of touch' and a will to appear anywhere in the media for a buck or two. Sorry.

I kinda think that about anyone who ever goes on Talk Sport, Paxman. He was a regular on there a few years back, but sounded a bit of a relic. Not as much as Alan Brazil and Adrian Durham, mind..

Spoke his usual bunkam you know, as if he had his gob full of bubble gum. Mentioned about imagining if it was the Bolton game in 1987 quiet what that had to do with it God knows, also i think you will find the gate for that game including Bolton fans was about 13000. The blokes a cock and probably hasn't paid to watch us home or away for over 50 years. Do you know each time he was sacked as manager here a number of the players celebrated the fact and his nepitism around playing his son over Steve Ogrizivic was pathetic. !!

As was his public lambasting and subsequent 'sacking' of Raddy Avramovic after a couple of mistakes in a game. Jeez Joe Murphy would've been out weeks ago if Gould was in charge. I remember him in the same way as I think of AT now..great scout and spotter of talent...shite manager.

They're talking on Shanes show at the moment ,texts coming in supporting the boycott, however people are so misguided even after being @ the Ricoh for 6 seasons ,suggesting boycotting matchday food and drink to harm the club but show the team we're there ,i can't believe we have any fans who are'nt aware of our predicament regards the stadium let alone Martin Winch.

Gould couldn't seem to get it through his thick head that it doesn't matter if we have 1000 or 31000 at the Southampton game Coventry City Football Club get no more out of it. All access cash will go into the pocket of SISU. Does he think if we had 30000 and a gate reciept of £750000+ Andy Thorn will be given a pound to improve our squad ?

Was that you gary on the radio, you spoke well mate. We must get this boycott threat into the national media somehow, SISU are very fragile to adverse publicity does them no good in the murky business they operate in. But what is really needed is a get together, meeting call it what you will of like minded City fans to get this thing really rolling and arrange other demos too, there's lots that can be done, legally and be a real pain in the ass to SISU. They are definitely wobbling it's time to give them a real shove. I told Paul Clouting to his face at that meeting with the fans at Kenilworth cricket club that the fans would beat them, he just looked but i could tell he knew i was right.

Will try to i have a few ideas taken from the scallies of Liverpool on how the finally managed to get rid of Gillette and Hicks which i can assure you was a tougher ask than ours, but they were really well organised and kept the right side of the law which is the most important thing. The John Clarkes of this world will jump on the slightest bit of illegallity if they can. They have the money.

The other big factor was that they actually had somebody interested in buying the club. Jesus wept.
