It's called : Bob Dylan Biograph. Its all his hits and other tracks from his beginning till 1981. Some songs I've never heard before like Masters Of War,Percy's Song, Tombstone Blues,and Grooms Still Waiting At The Alter. He got it from a charity shop so it's not a recent collection. I love it though ! Hurricane isn't on it though which is my favourite track by him.You really need to listen to some of his older stuff, BBR. I have nearly everything he's done. Huge fan of Bob Dylan! Is that the triple album set with Blood On The Tracks included?

Masters of War is off his "Freewheelin'" album. "Isis" is actually a girl's name. Released in the 70's so nothing to do with the ISIS we know today! Keep listening to Dylan. You'll eventually love his stuff as much as me! By the way, have you ever listened to much Leonard Cohen? Similar stuff to Dylan but in his own clever style. I had a Cohen album years ago and it was good but have to start listening to his stuff again. Music is subjective so what one person likes someone else doesn't. I dislike jazz but that doesn't mean jazz is crap.I've got a lot of Dylan's stuff, but I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. And the missus has to be out - she can't stand him.

The girl in the flat above me has always got rap on and at times really loud. I dislike rap so I stick on some heavy metal which has at times got her to turn the rap crap off ! On a lighter note I'm just back in and got the Dylan CD on again. I'm bloody addicted now !I can't stand rap either. I just don't get the concept of shouting down a microphone using inane gabble just to make something rhyme. And then it's spoken so fast, you don't understand what the hell is being said anyway! :emoji_thumbsdown:

Like I wrote earlier I've got into Dylan's music late but what I've listened to so far it's all been good. As for Buckley is he the one that died young ?I liked his first two folksy albums when he was a Woody Guthrie sound-a-like.
Have not cared for much since except a few songs like "Positively 4th Street", "Like a Rolling Stone" and "I Want You".
The last album I liked was his 1967 Greatest Hits album. After that, it was all downhill for me.
Check out some of the other 60's folk artists like Phil Ochs, Tom Rush and Tim Buckley,

My dad loved his music and as a kid I recall he was always playing/singing to Nat King Cole,Jim Reeves,Perry Como,and others from that era.When he passed away I kept some of his collection as he had moved on to CDs.And on the odd occasion have played some of it especially Andy Williams.Bloody love Williams ! And even my son likes him too which shows music especially good music lives on through the generations.Jeez! I just listened to a track on Radio Two. I thought to myself: "Fook me! That's great! I like that! Gonna download it!" I waited till it ended to see what it was and who was singing. Shiver me timbers!!! It was only Harry bleedin' Styles of Wrong Direction! Really good song! Yes, Tim Buckley died in his late 20's, accidental drug overdose I think. Dylan was my first introduction to modern music. Before that I only heard 50's music, my father liked Connie Francis and Lonnie Donegan. When I first heard Bob Dylan ("The Times They Are a'Changin", I think), it opened my eyes and ears and I started listening to all kinds of music. Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits was the first record album I ever bought. After that I bought his two earlier albums, which I really liked.
