I don’t think it’s that. No one on this forum is bothered about our opinions being challenged otherwise we wouldn’t be on here where every post is pushed back on!
It’s more not wanting to open up a social media app to catch up on whatever it is you use Twitter for and being greeted with bots, porn, racism and more.

If the exodus has nothing to do with politics, why is it nearly all left wing people that seem to be going over to Bluesky?
I'm in full agreement that Twitter is a shithole, I just don't see how this is helpful and I'm also not gullible enough to believe the desire for a left wing echo chamber is not a big part of the motives for many to move over.
I'm happy to see counter arguments to my political opinion. I'm happy with discussion.
However, I'm not happy with seeing abuse, porn bots, constant, adverts, racism, Russian bots, MAGA nutters on my timeline. I'm sick of it. I left. I'm glad I did.
