According to Blues' now deleted post tickets are going to be cheaper for ST holders. I think it's the case that home and away prices have to be the same. If so it's going to be meltdown, I can't wait.

Following Coventry City’s progress to the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round after victory over Bristol Rovers, details have been confirmed for the game between Coventry City and Birmingham City at St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium.

The match will be played on Saturday, 25thJanuary, with kick-off at 3pm.

Coventry City have been drawn as the home team, however both Clubs are conscious of the circumstances of the game as the two teams both play home games at St Andrew’s this season – providing a unique backdrop to this match.

Coventry City and Birmingham City have worked closely together this season in making the groundshare arrangement as successful as it could be this season, developing a friendly and productive relationship between the Clubs, and we will again work closely for this game, aiming to ensure a great experience for all supporters.

Both sets of supporters have commented on the unique circumstances of the fixture to us and on social media, and both Clubs hope that together fans will embrace the uniqueness of the game and make it a memorable show of unity in football.

Of the overall capacity of tickets available for sale, with appropriate areas taken out for segregation etc, each club will have around half.

Coventry City fans will have use of the Kop Stand as they have for home games this season, selling into the Tilton Road Stand if required.

Birmingham City fans will have use of the Main Stand, the Gil Merrick Stand Upper and half of the Gil Merrick Lower. The away section of the Gil Merrick Stand will be closed.

It will be an all-ticket fixture for both sets of supporters – fans will not be able to buy on the day of the game.

Tickets will be priced:

NON-SEASON TICKET HOLDERS:

Adults - £20

Concessions (Seniors (60+), Young Adults (21 and Under), Students, Armed Forces) - £15

Under 18s - £10

CCFC SEASON TICKET HOLDERS:

Adults - £18

Concessions (Seniors (60+), Young Adults (21 and Under), Students, Armed Forces) - £13

Tickets will go on sale later today - full details on tickets will be on our website shortly.

When Manchester United came to HR in 1968 their supporters had the whole of the West End and the almost the whole Sky Blue terrace, more than half our terracing at the time. Us normal West Enders ended up in the Spion Kop packed like sardines. Gate was 47000 so there was probably about half and half

Why are some getting irate this isn’t on TV? The games were picked before the replay and Bristol Rovers v Birmingham isn’t really an eye catcher.

The game will be picked up by a foreign broadcaster anyway

Because people are sick of the big clubs getting the TV money. The sort of money they pay for the TV games could change our season, give us the money to bring in a striker to get us over the line. It isn't even going to pay one player's weekly wage for the top 6.

Yes but they could have been left with Bristol Rovers v Birmingham which has little story.

The aim of the TV companies is to pick the games which will get as many views as possible - Arsenal v Bournemouth will comfortably exceed anything we’ll get

Wolves v Man Utd seems to be on TV ever week at the moment! Its a self fulfilling prophecy. Sky and BT hype up games with the 'big' clubs massively hardly giving anyone else mention. Then they wonder why people only watch those games.

They were happy enough to chose the possibility of Watford v Wolves which happens twice every season and is televised anyway.

TV companies aren’t charities. To be honest all money should be pooled and divvied up by the FA/EFL IMO

One Bluenose has raised a valid point about them not having the "away" section of the Lower Gil Merrick (which is closed). They could easily have had all of that and netted off the first block of the Kop. There'll be plenty of room for us in the Tilton Road as well, i'd have thought.

Which would have led to someone moaning about us being at home, yet our side is restricted. People just seem to like a moan these days!!

Will be released in blocks.

STH should see a notification when they log on, for their reserved seats.

There was no need for either. There are already 3 blocks closed between Kop Stand and away stand. Obviously, 3 blocks of segregation is not enough so they have increased it to 6 blocks just to sure. And to think, when Villa play at SA, no blocks are closed. All a bit weird.

Just bought 3 x tickets, easy enough.
Difficult bit is finding the Cov/Brum 50/50 scarves.

It is really daft considering there's no real animosity between Blues and Cov, in fact quite the contrary now. Hopefully sense will prevail and a few extra blocks released if needs be. Be a shame to see 8'000 empty seats at a "sold out" game. Can you imagine?

Who’s counting the dots?

Just tried to call both clubs with an enquiry, had a ten minute wait for Brum and a message that “maximum calls has been reached” for CCFC so seems there’s some interest.
