Shambolic.

SAG are a disgrace. The atmosphere will be a morgue next season because of them.

I've said before on here but wouldn't have the time.

We need to mobilise a fan group. This is the sort of stuff that can be discussed with fans. Work a way to open block 13.

I'm sure someone has the time to set it up and get a voice for supporters wanting to make noise etc.

They’re a joke, have been for years and only seem to be get worse.

At Huddersfield on Saturday, there was little more than a stair widths segregation between home and away fans and whilst there was a bit of banter as expected, nothing boiled over due to the steward and police presence. The same can be said of many other grounds throughout the country.

I don’t recall seeing any other club being so insistent on thousands of seats being taken off sale. They are even restricting away sales now too. Surely the club and Fraser’s can contest this?

Club don't seem to care much, publicly at least. In his programme notes the other week DB was saying what a 'great relationship' the club have with them. It's almost as though he was saying we should be grateful that the whole of SC was not closed - it seems that was a very real prospect at one point. Mental.

And it's not like we are short of stewards. They are all stood around doing nothing under Block 14.

Last week Rangers and Celtic played a cup-final at Hampden with just two blocks of three in a row empty seats and a gangway between rival fans. Club should definitely open upto and including block 11. There would still be a decent sized no mans land block between fans.

He's not exactly going to call them cunts though, is he?

Although, it does seem like they are.

Who actually makes up the "SAG"?

I sat in block 2 for the Sunderland game. 1st time I had sat in that side of the ground. Much better atmosphere than block 21 onwards. I don’t have a season ticket and looked online earlier as thought I may get the 5 for £125 offer. When I saw those clocks were not for sale for this Saturday I checked the remaining home games and thought it strange that blocks 2 and 3 were not available at all. I am not getting 5 for £125 and being stuck at the far end of the ground. Has the SAG explained this decision as I saw no trouble with Sunderland at all.

From there, I notice it’s all about risk and compliance and nothing the other way, which is understandable. No obvious way of making complaints/submissions either.

Thought this was interesting though:

Not sure what the fuss is about. 2 and 3 are always inciting the away fans, it's almost as though people get tickets there just to get a rise from visitors. I'd much prefer to see those folks expending all their energy supporting the team on the pitch. Maybe move those two sections up to the North Stand so we can have 2 1/2 full stands of fans. Seeing a half empty North always rankles with this veteran West Terracer.

Surely the SAG have to provide written justification to explain why?

For example, why CCFC can't sell certain areas but when it's for Rugby or the Women's football it's fine?

ffs The bastard Council still sticking the knife into us!!! Surely if it's a privately owned stadium, the owners have the last say on things?
I get HSE and security side of things, but having vindictive councilors dictating things? nah

This is why we need some fan representation.

It's all very sly. Just like when they stopped selling tickets in Singers Corner without telling people.

Last season I could always get a ticket in block 16 if I didn’t leave it too late. Enjoyed the atmosphere in there. This season I’ve been in block 21 a few times and as far down as block 23 on a couple of occasions. One advantage of not having a season ticket is being able to try different areas and see how it feels. Block 2 was a decent atmosphere and granted it is close to the away fans but what is so wrong with that? It’s not like anyone was scrambling over any netting screaming obscenities. Oh and it was also easier to get a beer at half time.

Seriously are you saying that unless you can sit near to away supporters you're not interested in going to see your team play? That really is the determining factor?

Is this not impinging on the clubs ability to trade ? How have they got the power to stop ticket sales in any area the club want. Tossers

Maybe if we didnt have twats running on the pitch with blue flares then the SAG may be a bit more lenient.

Some of our fans have contributed to this decision
