Bit random mate, I'm sure it mixed reviews.
Many will like it as it adds to the atmosphere, many will believe its a fake way of creating atmosphere.
In my opinion its a great way of getting the face going.

Have you seen some of the massive goons that sit at the top of block 15? Most of them look like they're number one traverllers on the loopy bus from the caludon centre every saturday, you could get them going by dangling a shiny object infront of them

Sounds to me like that not only is he banging the drum but also banging your missus too.

You seem overly bitter and worryingly vindictive.

So what though? I don't get the point here they are our fans who sing and create an atmosphere in an otherwise dull stadium. Not every fan looks like Brad Pitt with an honours degree.

What a bizzare thread this is.

I go home and away every week, I miss the away night games due to university commitments but that's all, I've had a season ticket in block 15 for the past 4 seasons but for the past 4 games I've been sitting with an old friend in block 17 as the pathetic celtic song and the terrible 'left side: right side' get on my nerves, and although block 17's not that far away, its better then having to be in the middle of it

Have to say I don't mind the drum, the left side right side song is awful though.

Dunno what to make of the Depeche Mode song though...

Another constructive thread.... NOT!!

What is wrong with trying to 'drum' up a bit of an atmosphere??!! Sport is part of the entertainment industry and why can't people go to enjoy themselves? Just because the team isn't doing very well doesn't mean the fans have to sit and be glum when they pay their hard earned money to go.

Personally I sit in Block 16 and like the option to join in with the singer's corner if I choose to but if they weren't there I wouldn't get this choice.

There are far more pressing matters with our club and someone having a bit of fun playing a drum and getting the crowd going is not one.

You stay in block 17 mate or better still move to the other side with the equivalant of the prawn sandwich brigade because your negativity is not welcome.

"or better still move to the other side with the equivalant of the prawn sandwich brigade because your negativity is not welcome."

What's wrong with being over the other side? Now who's being a knob?

What the hell is it with City fans? A guy is brave enough to put himself up for ridicule by bringing a drum (hopefully complete w fire certificate) to the games to help generate some atmosphere in the empty mausoleum that the Ricoh has become and someone has to object.

As bad as those slagging Brinner off over having the passion and balls to go to SISU's gaff and try and do something.

Is it mandatory now that to be a true fan you have to be totally apathetic to all around you - next some tosser will be objecting to people jumping up when we score as it disturbed his afternoon nap. Get a life.

I'm happy with the drum! I like the depeche mode song ( I don't associate it with Celtic). I've no problem with anyone trying to make some atmosphere in the place to be honest.

Actually, I think if we had all of our fans singing that it would be amazing!

If only we could line dance too...

Not a very good drum though, is it! I mean, he could change the skins but SISU won't give him the funds *waves fist*

If the fella is trying to get the atmosphere going then whats the problem? As for the 'Celtic' song i don't see the problem either. Celtic are not the only team singing it. Norwich off the top of my head do too.

But i do think the best one at present is 'take me home, highfield road'

The ground is big enough for everybody so just move to the other end and stop moaning about something that is so trivial.

He's trying to create an atmosphere and he's not using a bell so he's not the most detestable person in the universe.

With the way we have been playing/the way the results have been falling, the drummer and jesus are my highlight of the match!!!!:claping hands:

Not a very good drum cos the club make him use concrete skins as the normal drum skins didn't have a fire certificate.

Norwich doing it is a reason in itself not to do it.

I can't even hear this over in the Lloyds stand. Tell him to bang it harder so we can all hear.

Not really an issue for us, just hope that the Southampton fans don't make too much noise when they score, as could really do with the rest to be honest.
