Why, when people are up in arms about lawyers and legal stuff, does hardly anybody care about the ridiculous amount of money being spent by ACL on a PR company to push out stuff like this?

The worse thing is that people are willing to help them do their work for free & without question.

Oh & hello to the Weber Shandwick people on here. You're earning your money well...

Whatever happened to the old Grendel who actually had quite an intelligent input ?

You seem to have turned into a bit of a loon . Are you sure you haven't let PSGM1 use your account ?

My point is you respond to a fairly mild rebuke to Fred by cling me a wanker. Retard rich calls 2,000 people cunts and that doesn't even get a mild rebuke.

Why?

My point of calling you a wanker is to do with the way you come across , not only on this thread , but on nearly all the threads on here lately. I will only call you a wanker in future on threads that don't have anyone calling anyone cunts . Oh and cunts are useful the 2000 odd Sixfields attendees aren't IMO.

I am probably more intelligent than most people on here. I also have a very strong moral compass about what is right and wrong. I choose to go to Sixfields. The pathetic and hysterical baiting on here is unlikely to change that dont you think?

@ M&B Stand...........................................................................................................What I find most "Laughable" with the Sixfield attendees is, You all hate being called SISU supporters, and say things like..."We are supporting the players, not the owners" Yet the only thing you can hit back at the majority of fans is......but you're going to the Emirates, or...you're going to MKDons. Total s**t retort IMHO. 40 odd games a season in this league...3 Cup games, possibly a couple more if we have a good Cup run. For arguments sake, lets say 52/53 games per season, agreed? We don't play Arsenal every week, so to show the owners what they are missing with regards to our fan base, makes this "One off" against the "Gooners" a great stage to "Ram it in their faces" MKDons, likewise. So if we as the vast majority of CCFC fans are making a "Faux Pas" by going to these "Rare games"(I don't) What sort of ambition for CCFC have you attendees to Sixfields got by following the "Boys" and giving you're money to SISU to build "Legoland" with a 12k that can be built on to make a 20k shed...I would say about the same as SISU...ZERO!

Whst an obnoxious statement . You may well be " more intelligent" but you certainly aren't morally superior .

Never said I was - you are the ones throwing morality around when its actually just about the support of a provincial football team - wish people got so wound up about the real moral issues facing the city of Coventry . Instead there is a selfish projection of your own predjudices.

I didn't say that you said you were. If morally you think it is ok for a hedge fund to sue a charity because the hedge fund owe a charity money and refuses to pay it then in my opinion your "moral compass" may be experiencing technical difficulties.

To take that in isolation it sounds bad - but we al know it is much more complex than that.

AndreasB ,a question for you. Do you find it ok or wrong for Sisu to countersue the Higgs ?

A straight answer would be nice.

Whoops posted at same time as the above.

That on it's own is a thread worthy comment. I wonder if the ones that go to sickfields would do that? :thinking about:

Maybe it's just me, but that sounds like it has come straight from the home counties, and not from a Coventrian.

Can we not have "feel the love Friday" after yesterday please. I am actually thinking about the football side of things today, which is quite refreshing

I dont know their reasons and nor do you so immediately deciding it is a Very Bad Thing is pointless. Im no fan of SISU and the whole resorting to Court by everyone involved in this affair highlights the lack of leadership on all sides. Giving a straight Yes or No is unwise.

Well if Warwickshire is now the Home Counties then fair enough. I suppose you were born in an Anderson Shelter under Pool Meadow were you? Wish I had them true Cov credentials.

The point you completely failed to grasp is that in the scale of things, that is who we are a provincial football club who has fallen on hard times. We might live and breathe it but the rest of the world is only very mildy interested.

My opinion is, I'm afraid , exactly that , an opinion. It is formed from information available which we all know. These apparently are Facts.
If they are not then please point my errors out to me and my opinion may change.

Sisu and Higgs had talks.
Sisu agreed at the time that if nothing came of it they would pay Higgs costs.(Very reasonable of Sisu in my opinion)
It all went pear shaped.
Sisu didn't pay costs to Higgs.
Higgs are going to court to recover monies owed.
Sisu counterclaim , after agreeing to pay costs, for a six figure sum.

I find the last line to be the problem. I find these people abhorrent.

Pretty much my understanding too ... and I wholly agree, it is your last line that is the issue ... up till then both parties had behaved correctly, one hopes that the Higgs trust had tried all routes, prior to going to court, but I am sure they would have done ...

AndreasB, given the facts as we know them, given the timeline of events surrounding the Higgs discussions, given SISU's past record of suing anyone who does not fall in line. Do you believe that if SISU are in the right with this one, they would not have sued Higgs to start with rather than a counter sue?

Please don't answer with your usual flannel of "we don't know the facts" etc. I'm just looking for your gut feeling rightly or wrongly.

…and this is one of the fundamental aspects to the case that the judge will deliberate on, particularly with reference to the timeline.
