The high court is hearing an appeal today to decide if Tony Blair should stand trial for war crimes. Is there anybody that would be against this?

In my opinion it would do a lot for our standing in the world and put off a lot of potential terrorists or those that are susceptible to being radicalised if we were able to say 'we were wrong and are attempting to atone for our actions'

Whatever merits there may have been in getting rid of Saddam Hussein have been wiped away by creating the vacuum that allowed ISIS to become what they have today.

The reason why we haven't wiped ISIS of the face of the Earth is because a) we don't know where they really are and b) the cowards surround themselves in innocent people they force to live their way of life through fear, violence and intimidation.

Do they all deserve to die to?

The only reason they exist and have grown like they have is the power vacuum that was created with wars against the likes of Iraq and Afghanistan.

In any case no matter if you believe it was right to topple Saddam or not you're going into very shaky territory if you allow the PM to break international law to go to war.

I read a book called Web of deceit, (I think), by Mark Curtis, who lays out an argument that Blair wasn't Bushs lapdog but was very much involved, and in some events instigator, of everything that went on regarding events in Iraq.

I would recommend anyone to watch the documentary the killings of Tony Blair it's on Netflix.
The bloke is a war criminal, has the death of millions down to him, left the middle East in a mess it is today. He now makes millions with his corruption aligning himself in big business, banks and corrupt governments around the world.
I will dance in the street the day he meets his karma, which would be tough as there isn't a level of punishment to fit his crimes.

All this talk about Blair and war crimes is all sixth form nonsense really. Blair is a pathetic example of modern day politics. The young idealistic voters are always gawp eyed by a snake oil salesman like Blair and when they realise the reality is they have been conned the truth is too hard to bare. Blair was always a shape shifting politician and a creature of no substance. It's the realisation of that and the embarrassment of once supporting old Tony that makes this sort of nonsense come about.

If people want to prosecute war crimes then they should drag the likes of Mugawbawe to the dock. The truth is they haven't the stomach for it.
