If true that is disappointing. But heigh ho, what do we expect.
Seem to remember Gary Breen being played out of position a lot too.

Oh, I hope not. I love BA me. Jordan Willis is certainly not a left back.

Pressley seemed not to, though.

No, me neither. It'd be daft to start Pressley OUTing, but some of his judgements are a little odd.

he was always going to go to a club close to the Midlands. There is no way he was "gettin on a plane"

Simple economics
Willis is bit more of a unit and Haynes coming through and £ saved

So it looks like he will be moving before the end of his contract. He was signed to Jun 2015.

For us to sign players, players are going to have to leave. We didn't have many whose contracts were up this year did we? And the squad can't added to without some outgoings.
He was, I was going to say obviously but it may not have been as obvious with an 'injury' and his 'asthma' keeping him out f games, out of favour for a large part of the season end. Unjustifiably IMO as I thought he was always one of our harder workers, and certainly had probably the best cross out of the squad (used to think the same of Christie though but his head was turned and suddenly he couldn't cross for shite!!).

Be sad to see him go IF he went. Certainly one of my more favoured left backs we've had in recent years.

There was a rumour towards the end of last season that Pressley kept Adams out the team because Sunderland would gain financially from Blair Adams making a 50th appearance..

Again a rumour, but coincidental?

Who would have made that decision SP or TF? If true, off course.

In that case, I've heard we're signing Messi after the World Cup.

Just off to view the Barca boards in meltdown.....

If this is true, most club's would make a joined decision, if he is worth the money, does it effect FFP and can we use the money somewhere else in the squad... Looks like another situation where we will have to see it pan out before we know the truth.

I can't imagine the figure would be massive, and I'd like to think that SP would be man enough to say to the owners 'I need my best players in the team and it's worth more than the £xxx due to Sunderland'
