Bet their fans are over the moon. Shame about points deduction that should be looked at not the fans fault they knew he was a bad un the EFL turned a blind eye to it all and then to rub salt in the wounds want to take points off them. Up the Tangerines.
Looks like it did. But ether way doing nothing definitely archives nothing. Just happy that you get upset about us protesting against the only people you like.
Didn't somebody they owed millions to call the debt in, which means as Blackpool is one of his assets was taken off him to go towards paying them back?
Who are the only people I like? The only reason they have gone into receivership is because the minority investor doggedly followed actions through the courts and legal process We need to always allow legal process to follow its course don’t we?
You still don't get it. The main creditor of CCFC / Otium is Arvo. They, like last time, would have full control of an administration process. Different from Blackpool as they had big 3rd party debt.
Is that how it works? People do a protest and if something happens they just say it was all down to them? Imagine the back pats. It's the same as the people who protested about Sixfields saying the club came back due to them.
Is the judgement against Oyston rather than the club? That would make more sense as I see people tweeting that Blackpool are in receivership. Thought that usually meant they assets being sold off and the business being wound up as opposed to administration where the company is kept going to sell as a going concern. If its against Oyston himself then the club would be an asset to be sold intact.
Yeah, it's him as a person rather than the club. Court ruling set to bring Oyston’s Blackpool reign to an end
Stand to be corrected! I assume it's Segesta Ltd that owed the other bloke all the money which is why they need to sell the assets to pay him back?
The ruling looks the same as when Southampton were docked points - it’s not directly aimed at the club but the holding company. The FL will have to dock points or I’m sure will face objections from other clubs.
Don't see how they could not if its the holding company, the precedent is already there with Southampton.
Glad for them to get rid of the vile prick. Hopefully they avoid the deduction as it isn't really their fault but I can see them losing some. Hopefully they end up with some decent owners. The less bad owners in football makes the game better for us all. Big challenge to Blackpool now. They have to support their team in numbers and not just for a couple of games.
You could argue by starving the club of funds this got to this point a little quicker? Maybe grasping at straws I know!
What's to say Oyston or an associated company won't purchase the assets from the receiver? The claimant gets the proceeds.
What's to say Oyston or an associated company won't purchase the assets from the receiver? The claimant gets the proceeds. Oh look, the receivers are those said by one of the Trust related cranks to be in league with SISU:
I hope that they don’t get deducted the points given that the EFL are comparable in allowing the situation happen in the first place.
Ha, they want to move the season ticket holders into a different block. Imagine when SISU go the frothers suggest that to the people who haven't been boycotting.
I was listening to Simon Jordan and he said it may not be the good news they think as one person who could take them out of admin is a fan favourite Karl Oyston that would be a popular choice
