I saw the piece about who will be attending and Tim Sherwood is there, possibly to iritate us, but I also saw Don Mackay and wondered if that is the same DM that managed us? He was a really nice guy, some say 'too nice' and that's why he didn't succeed, however, it will be great to see him again.

He actually was, then turned them around before Jack Taylor? took the financial gamble for them to have their period of dominance?

Well here we are! Only a point needed for the return to the promised land. The expectations will be massive and we can see from last weekend’s 0-0 against Sheff Wed that Blackburn can rain on our parade. I expect us to still have enough but as was last week, Tat’s missing on the right hand side is a slight blow.
Time for Esse to stand up and be counted unless he prefers BTA?

What do we think the vibe will be with a draw?
Mad celebrations that it confirms the P

Or slight disappointment at allowing Ipswich another way in?

Not really,to surrender to that onslaught from their fans was frankly pathetic in my mind, sitting there and taking it,get some fucking guts is my critism, not aimed at you specifically ,grinds my gears.

My point was people were saying easy win because they’ve lost nearly every game for months and are garbage.

Just posted this on the ticket thread, but:

I have mine to sell, having to take my Mrs to the hospital and given it's a 4 hour drive from Hitchin - I am not going to make it after.

Send me a DM, only after face value btw. If you were willing to pay more, then please chuck the rest in the Season ticket fund.

Thanks mate, hoping the midwife has just been very nervous but it's sort of put football into perspective - atleast for today!

A couple of people have messaged me about it so it is now probably gone!

I'm looking forward to the game and pretty relaxed tbh.
Not sure why but I feel it will be a draw... which would be a great result for both teams

Anyone struggling with trains still?
Trainline showing all on time this afternoon now but wondering if that is still the case. From Manchester onwards.

Think we'll draw tonight. Blackburn far from clear of relegation yet so will have plenty of fight.

I think we're gonna start running out of steam and so Blackburn late on a Friday night will be a victim of that.

And of course, the pressure continues to build on getting the title now, so they boys will no doubt be in there heads a bit.

Would obviously be delighted with a win, but think these last few games will be a bit tighter than we'd like.

Ipswich don’t have another way back in.
Even if they win their game in hand, which is against Southampton away, they’re still 7 points behind.
They’d need to win basically every game other than that and then us basically lose after tonight

A point away is ok regarding the title imo. Tbh i think we could win the league without getting another point, but draw this and win just 1 of our 2 home games and its done for sure. So we should just celebrate promotion, people overthink things.

Yeah. We might have to crawl to the end. I am convinced we will be champions, but I think it might turn out to be a bit of a trudge, unfortunately.

Love to be proved wrong
