Watch the game back , he put quite a few crosses , played nice forward 1-2s around the box and drove into dangerous areas .

He didn’t put any crosses in. His “1-2s” were negative, going backwards not forwards.

Multiple times he received it around their box and passed it back to Eccles/Allen rather than taking his man on or whipping it in.

He's not a wing back. He's a CB who can be very solid at wing back. Don't expect cancelo

I don’t, but when he’s playing as a wing back I’ll rate his performance accordingly.

Played off the park but won. Kelly was getting near them and putting the boot in before his injury caused by having to race back. Ayo looked like a young kid when he came on and we were swamped in midfield. He did produce one touch of sheer class that gave us the win. Will be a top player, possibly not for us immediately. Wilson saved us yet again and I think their disallowed goal was called correctly. Tip onto the bar was brilliant keeping. DaSilva, as ever started well. When Blackburn realised he was the danger and Lati was less of an attacking threat, they cut that avenue down for us. Lati and back three good defensively, but still gave them chances near the end. Eccles excellent as was Allen covering the defence. Simms not great. Godden great work rate, unlucky when he hit the bar as was Thomas. Hadji better with the advantage of a tiring Blackburn and took his goal well. If Blackburn had a great striker, they would have been out of sight. Bogey side Norwich up next. Need to start well. Someone suggested Binks in midfield. These things work out or are terrible ideas. Don't think we can afford to play like we did in this match and get away with it.

Fair enough.

I gave Wilson a 9 because I couldn’t remember him putting a foot wrong.

Majority 6’s probably fair.

Lati, Binks and JDS had good games. Allen and Godden were above average…….

Maybe the euphoria of a late win tinted the lenses.
