Dovin was outstanding, the game would of been over in the first 30 minutes if it wasn't for him. M.O.M.

Torp and Allen look good together, and some good stuff from Bidwell too.

He let in one dodgy goal against QPR when he misjudged the bounce. .

I assume he went with the team in place when he arrived and then looked at players and made changes.

Same with kitching

I think that's,what happened though he clearly kept him in too long and his position became untenable after Portsmouth.

Kitchings a strange one, Robins never played him, Carr brought him back, we played well, then he dropped him.

Then taken him a while to get in under Lampard and probably only due to an enforced formaation change. Fuck knows what's gone on.

Dovin MOTM but Kitching has been immense since coming back in. No idea why he was frozen out.

That was in his second run of games wasn't it? And the only obvious error he's made really.

Dropped an absolute clanger in international duty and you've proven my point.

He's gone out the limelight, pressure off, come back a beast, job done. Shame it was two games too late.

Cheers

Sometimes you have to take a young kid out of the firing line.

Don't re write history, he was making poor mistakes and decisions which cost him his place

Was he? Think it was more the poor decisions in front of him rather than his poor decisions.

Dovin - 9 outstanding
MvE - 7 started awfully got better and better
Lati - 7 never shirks a challenge , battles for everything and hit some decent passes tonight
Binks - 6 not as good as he's been recently
Kitching - 8 oozes calm and class , when he's in this form he's easily out best centre back
Bidwell - 8 some fantastic work up and down and looks a fearsome partnership that side with Kitching on his inside
Allen - 8 machine
Torp - 7 keeps improving, needs to stop giving away silly fouls
Rudoni - 7 started slowly but got better , is his best position left midfield?
Simms - 8 always a threat with his movement , pleased he got a goal and hope he can go on a run
BTA - 7 strikers are paid to score goals and he's now 2 in 2 , all round game needs work

Subs :
Thomas - 7 came on at the right time and kept it simple
Tats - 7 opened the game up and worked his socks off , delivery not as good as it could've been
Eccles - 7.5 superb when he came on , him and Allen shored it up and he used the ball cleverly and progressively

For the most part he got sold short by the defence in front of him, he didn't make any obvious errors when he first started here. Certainly not enough to warrant being dropped quickly.

He should be able to go on about what he,wants without getting would you say that to my face bollocks.

If people think it's stupid, fair enough, they're quite with in their right to tell him so.

Not forecast it once this season for the umpteenth time. We were playing poorly and hovering above the drop zone until very recently, concern over league position was justified.

There's much I could say about your posting habits that are just silly if we really want to play that game.

I couldn't because of how we were playing. As it turns out we've done something we haven't really done before and ground out back to back wins to nil against 11 men.

Back to back fantastic performances from Simms. When he's on it, he's probably the best in the division. Such a beast.

Dovin was phenomenal. Torp is coming good. Back 5 did brilliantly.

I also didn't call for MR's sacking at any point whereas others were jumping on the bandwagon. Nobody more pleased than me to see the side win anyway.

Yeah, no doubting that was a factor. Just feel like it could earn him a gentle mocking at some point. "Remember that time..."

End of the day - no one will be judging lamps on his first 5. Season ends in may and I've always (slight blip after Norwich) been confident we would be in or around the top 6. Watford and Swansea next. I think we will have a strong finish to the season.

What mistakes?

I wouldn't even put the QPR one down as a massive mistake on his part, the guy totally mishit it into the ground.

I'm not sure he really did much wrong elsewhere, did he?

I think Robins made some comments, or it was inferred, about a lack of presence and communication from him.

Which I don't have too much of an issue taking out the firing line for a game or two.

The real problem was Collins staying in the team for so long despite being at fault for at least a goal a game. It was really bizarre

People can write what they want on here but the ignore button is there if someone's opinions bother you that much. As for me, this place is a good place to vent off steam so some of the posts are certainly more 'heated' than what I say and do in reality.

We are all to some extent playing characters on here
