Don't think there was a bad player.

Stand outs were the scorers and mve.

Wilson 2 brave challenges and slowed the game down!

Thomas Asante MOTM

What a difference it makes to have that energy and pressing from the front. Sets the whole tempo.

Made the 2nd goal and bagged the third, class.

Set the tone brilliantly. We’ve lacked that spear point in the press. MOTM for me, Sheaf second.

Wright much better.

Could tell from minute one they’ve had a rocket up their arse this week.

No chance eMC was a 5

First half he kept drifting and you could see he lacks confidence when he should have shot.

He was direct and made a goal.

Only woke up in time for the second half (it was a 2.45am kick off where I am, I’m not lazy) but all played very well. Wright looked to have a different mentality, epitomised by that tracking back tackle.
Right, back to sleep a happy man!

He didn’t create 4 chances lol

The assist was a good pass but Thomas Asante had loads to do (and keeper really should’ve saved it).

Eccles was excellent. But it was the blend that was so much better. All facilitated by BTA’s energy. Allowed Rudoni and Wright to get on the ball. Sheaf makes a huge difference and Van Ewijk continues to be a cut above.

Their definition of creating a chance is just passing to someone who then has a shot. It’s a very limited stat.

Excellent all round

But a special shout out for Eccles who worked his bollocks off and covered every blade of grass,
I watched him closely tonight and his work rate was immense, he closed players down, covered his team mates when they were pulled out of position, broke Blackburns play up, and kept us moving forward with simple play. M.O.M imo.

We said the same. He was excellent and at times looked really confident and positive on the ball.

Just seen a picture of Sakamotos gash, (ooh matron).

Not nice but probably preferable to a break or ligament damage

Edit - he could have one of them as well, shit

Eccles was outstanding tonight alongside Sheaf who is way off match fit but he held that midfield together .
BTA was the spark for tonight's display , I don't care if he takes 10-20 chances to score , he was dynamic and a constant irritant.
Wright got better and better as the game progressed too and EMC had a very good game too .
Defensively first half was shambolic but second half you could see confidence levels rise and I think they all come out with praise
And I'm not Wilson's biggest fan but cheered every single bit of housery tonight

I've said it before and I'll say it again , you entrench yourself with an opinion and never yield it .
Are you related to Grendel?

Night and day to the leeds performance. Kitching wasnt great with alot of wayward passing but otherwise id have said we were 7s and 8s across the board. BTA led the press brilliantly and Eccles, Sheaf, Rudoni really bossed the middle of the park. Hopefully we folow up with a win at the weekend and that cinfidence boost helps eliminate the errors that we're still making too many of
