A very good servant to us, and a decent player too. Luckily we haven't missed him too much, particularly since McNally's arrival, but he would definitely have helped in the spell when McFadzean was injured and we leaked a lot of soft goals.
I wonder if the plan here was for Hyam to ultimately replace McFadzean in the middle of our back 3. Robins clearly wasn't happy that he had to be sold and im not surprised to see he's done well since the move.
If we get promoted with loans, who's going to care?
If anything it shows brilliant financial management. We sell a player for 1.5 million (allegedly) to get us through a challenging financial mess, and replace him with loans who cost very little, and (potentially) finish in the playoffs.

And good luck to Hyam, I'm genuinely pleased for the guy, he has improved every year since he joined us in league 2, and I'm delighted to see him get that award at Blackburn.
