There was a striker we had on loan from Pompey who only made one performance if i remember right, but cant recall him name. Im thinking Oscar something but might be co platelet wrong!

I agree with a previous poster though naming Onandi Lowe! How desperate we're we signing up a drug dealer!

I saw Ivan Guerrero in Sydney at the olympics just after we signed him. Ysrael Zuniga was on the bench too, but never came on. Guerrero looked a decent player, was honduran captain, and got a nasty knock on the head early on. Played most of the match with a big bandage on his head, but still kept the likes of Mark Viduka in his pocket.

I think Steve Jacobs went to Brighton. I think he was demolished along with the Goldstone Ground!

How about the worst loan signing under Bobby Goulds first time as manager, Tommy Langley.

Another few ex players, Kenny Hibbett, Peter Bodak, David Barnes, Bob Latchford and the great booze and betting radio icon that is Alan Brazil!

David Smith - Not always liked but I thought he was a good old fashioned winger in the late 80's/early 90's.

I think Murphy gets some really unjustified criticism, so for the older fans out there we can put it inro perspective and can see what a good keeper he is especially if you compare him to our former clown of a keeper..........................................Raddy Avramovich.

I saw him beaten by another keeper, Steve Sherwood from watford, and punch a cross into his own net against Stoke. Think Robert Green but worse!

Richard spong (don't think he ever played 1st team but I liked his name), Paul Williams (from the EARLY 90's) and Marc edworthy!

Yeah Raddy was terrible. The dream defence has to be Raddy, Peter hormantchuck, Andy Spring, Sam allardyce and Peter Billing. They would have kept clean sheets all season.

Unfortunately, yes.

Speaking of keepers, Fabien Debec springs to mind.
