A dour half. Neither team look like scoring. You need a Jobello in this formation, we have very little width, and dabo in particular isn't managing to get forward. The ball isn't sticking up front either.

What you need in this formation is the 3 behind the striker to be getting up with and beyond Walker. It's a toothless formation without that and it hasn't happened because Mcfadzean is playing sweeper and the 3 get sucked in towards the DMs who are also deep, for the short ball from the CBs. It's hard to tell if it's just McFadz or your normal Robins first half tactical borefest. But there's been plenty of good stuff, occasional decent footy, some signs of learning the dark arts, Kelly and Dabo getting minutes. 0-0 might not be the best result but it draws a line in the sand for the season.A dour half. good psot. i'm too pissed to have written itSaid I hated it before the game and hate it even more now. I didn’t think we were far off picking up results before. I think this is moving backwards slightly. Offering absolutely nothing going forward and still look suspect defending against a very poor team. I really hope he changes it back. I’ll support him and the team whatever though.
