Lads, it's fine that the refs have not being giving us stonewall pens as Haji scored an offside goal in a 5-0 win.

You seem confused about when EMC was offside?

Regarding Charlton's claim for a pen never a pen , on Ref watch on Sky they said the same thing.

What are you on about?

What on earth does that have to with what I posted? You think EMC was offside at an earlier stage, no one else does but what does that have to do with this?

I've seen some headloss on this forum in my time but jesus wept today takes the piss. We've dominated that game start to finish and been punished twice for defensive lapses and once rushworth has done poor. As I write this we're currently 8 points clear of 3rd (9 basically given goal difference) and have just come out of a real tough run of fixtures.

Yes, 1 from a possible 9 is poor, but the 3 games prior to that we took 7 from 9. There will be a few reinforcements in over the next few, we've got a nice break period coming before very winnable games against Leicester and Millwall at home. We were never gonna carry on at the pace we set earlier this year, a wobble was coming and at this point it's a wobble that has left us top by 8 fucking points.

Basically, calm down, we will be fine.

Agreed, now I’m getting further from that display today. I’m not going to start panicking until that home double header we’ve got coming up. Hopefully a fresh face or two in before those games, players properly rested, and away from this brutal run in we’ve had. Hopefully back to business as usual.

Look at the run Middlesbrough are in the middle of, and they don’t have the cushion we do. We haven’t fucked it yet.

Three pretty bad goals to concede there and Vera beaten at his neat post pretty badly sums it up. Woeful kicking errors early on too. Need to regroup now. Ipswich should have to play their match in hand on the back of three games on the trot - ha ha!

Very marginal, and if you quibble that kind of decision, where it's fractions of centimetres and no advantage is gained, then you want VAR and all the chaos and soul-sapping joylessness that it brings.

Fine, if you do, but I don't; I would like to see us get one of these stonewall penalties, though.

Lampard is definitely pissed off with things at the minute, even he is coming across deflated, could it be to do with how this month's recruitment is going to go or is it just the teams poor performances?

Good. I hope he’s fuming. Let’s get it right. Birmingham are in bad form, sliding down the table and yet they stick 3 past us.

We have to get back to the ruthless levels we showed.

He's pissed off for the same reason as us. We look night and day compared to how we used to, we’re pretty much forced to look that way, and he’s already agitated at the possible idea that this January may not bear the fruits that it really really needs to.

Indeed and how many times does he do it. He’s fine with his tippy tappy control but he’s defensive ability is non existent. We can’t keep playing fullbacks so far advanced. The first goal he was still wondering around with no hope of recovery. Awful pass to grimes for the second as well.

Been saying this all season and taken endless stick for it. Neither Dasilva or Van Ewijk can defend. And worse still neither want to. We’ve got to change the way we play with them so far up the pitch. We’re always scrambling with them in the back 4. Both were abysmal again today

He's annoyed for the reasons he gave, this game was there to be won against piss poor opposition and the team fucked it with defensive howlers. Add in some moronic questions from Rob and well, there you go.

Frank needs to look at himself in the equation too. He’s been fantastic thus far but now needs to adjust and find solutions as to why we now look bang average. Persevering with our ‘ Big’ players seems to be backfiring.
Torp and BTA make quite a difference though.

Van Ewijk needs to stop taking long throws from the left side of the pitch, it leaves him completely out of position.

MVE has been running on fumes for weeks, there's been an alternative sitting there on the bench for most of that time. Aside from that however he's kind of been forced to keep going with whoever's been available.

If you say so, no one else thinks it was but once again what does this have to do with Haji's offside goal against Wednesday?

Oh the fucking cheek of you to say that. I'd say if you have a problem with me come and see me at the Leicester game but everyone knows you never actually go to the games.

Bad luck Brenda

You are a dim aren't you, you followed me and entered yourself into a conversation I was having with someone else.

Do you need help? As you don't seem to be all there. I apologise if you do as I don't want to mock those in need.

Well you know full well I post on the mental health thread so to use that as an insult is pretty low indeed.
