For what reason? What effect did he have on the play?

My post was made around an hour ago. What are you talking about?

You keep saying how intelligent you are and how other people are clueless, but you cannot read other people's posts properly, or tell the time. You also call other people 'billy big bollocks' despite being the one offering out fights.

You've gone a long way to try and mud the waters because a player that you apparently are 'not defending', has been criticised. Perhaps consider slowing down on the pints. Your posts are genuinely embarrasing.

If that's true, we should have had two today.

Both of the handball shouts were correct. I have no complaints about today's.

He was offside when he received the initial ball if it was VAR - I don’t blame the referee for not giving the penalty as there’s no way he can see it. I doubt the assistant would either. That’s the balance though isn’t it? We would have had a penalty against us at Charlton and the “handball” goal against Bristol would have counted.

He could be the one upfront to change things
It’s the negative signing African players, they have so many international games, and he had to get injured

Didn't we have a goal earlier in the season which was about a couple yards offside too.

and PS your post was indeed an hour ago, at 14.00, which unless I missed something wasn’t ’mid-game’ but other than that, you make some great points

No, because those decisions were correct. Marginal, maybe, but correct.

So for balance, we need some stinkers to go in our favour, not just get the correct decision in some heart-in-mouth moments.

Offside goal v. Sheffield Wednesday is the only one that's coming to mind. There may be others.

He's played 5 games for Ghana, 2 in 2024 and 3 in 2025, what are you on about? It feels icky though.

For me it evens itself out, the only issue is - when we get lucky we’ve been coasting. When it happens against us - we’re usually up against it - so we fee it more

Indeed and how many times does he do it. He’s fine with his tippy tappy control but he’s defensive ability is non existent. We can’t keep playing fullbacks so far advanced. The first goal he was still wondering around with no hope of recovery. Awful pass to grimes for the second as well.

He was all over the place getting in others way. He needs to stay more central as he was blocking quick balls to Mason Clarke multiple times today

We need to look at the catalysts for this recent demise.
Firstly the loss of BTA
Secondly , The desperation to shoehorn Wright into the team
Thirdly, The desperation to shoehorn Rudoni back in.
Fourthly , The damn flu virus / thin squad
Finally, The fact that teams have had half a season now to work out how we were succeeding.
Wright has looked useless for weeks on end.
Rudoni demanding the ball and then too often taking too many touches has nullified our attacks.
We have to assess what was working best for us and work as a team again not a bunch of individuals.
what happened to the striker from Mjaellby ? Be good to strengthen at the back too because evidently Latibeaudierre , Brau and Bidwell all looked pretty dreadful.
If we’ve got any spare brass then now is the time to gamble

I've seen some headloss on this forum in my time but jesus wept today takes the piss. We've dominated that game start to finish and been punished twice for defensive lapses and once rushworth has done poor. As I write this we're currently 8 points clear of 3rd (9 basically given goal difference) and have just come out of a real tough run of fixtures.

Yes, 1 from a possible 9 is poor, but the 3 games prior to that we took 7 from 9. There will be a few reinforcements in over the next few, we've got a nice break period coming before very winnable games against Leicester and Millwall at home. We were never gonna carry on at the pace we set earlier this year, a wobble was coming and at this point it's a wobble that has left us top by 8 fucking points.

Basically, calm down, we will be fine.
