Hoping for a second half like against Derby earlier in the season. The signs are there, definitely more goals in us. Just need to be better at the back. Back 4 aren’t playing as a unit.

This game is very Derby - we’ve shaded the game, they’ve scored a couple of good goals on the transition from us turning it over stupidly. Just keep going the way we are and we’ll win this. Chances are there.

Watching the goals back, Thomas stops the second goal quite easily if he just slides.

Instead he tries to run around it and use his right foot. Weird.

This performance and the last few have been a virtual plea for reinforcements. Having said that, MVE has been burnt out while KKH was there all along.

Mve has always been bad positionally but his pace saves him sometimes.

Just so you know, we’d have to score two goals for that to happen. TWO!

Lampard needs to have a word with EMC. These physical battles he’s getting caught in are doing nothing for us and just leads to us giving away cheap free kicks. Teams will have seen the Ipswich game and know how to nullify him.

Half of them aren’t even fouls by EMC but we know how refs are.

I hope our away end has raised plenty of money for charity with the sponsored silence since ‘it’s all gone quiet over there’ after our goal. Nobody trying to sing and by all accounts we are silent on the tele.

The lads need us more than ever (in this season) and there’s minimal effort to back the team.

No surprise our form has taken a dive since he’s been out. Such a massive influence on the team with his pressing, energy and versatility.

Team needs a new talisman which I was hoping Rudoni would be.

We've stopped doing the basics right.
And that's been happening for a few weeks

the basics being pressing high, fast and in their faces

we were winning balls back all over the park previously by pressing with intensity and recently we’ve lost the intensity, BTA was great at it but others have either been told not to, or just aren’t

Times when we lost possession and then ambled back. Van Ewijk and DaSilva particularly. DaSilva cannot use the tired card after having Christmas off.

We miss BTAs movement as we look so static in the final third. Not much on the bench to change it either, keep simms on as wright wouldn’t have don’t anything better than simms.

The performance, whilst not out free flowing best, would normally be enough to win this. You simply cannot defend the way we have for both goals though.

If Milan has been playing this bad because he had a bad Dose of Flu, then questions need to be asked why KKH wasn't filling in at the time. Because at the moment he's a shadow of what he's capable of and I think it's clear he needed the rest.

Same with Rudoni. Sure, he's got flair and style. But it's no good having that if all you're going to do is give the ball away on a stylish manner. We know what he can do, but he doesn't look anything like it at the minute.

There's some worrying trends beginning to appear in our matches, and if we don't get them sorted very quickly, it's going to go downhill fast. We badly need reinforcements in, the right ones of course. But I'd hope that we've already identified them and are ready to go quickly.

The momentum from running probably meant he wasn't able to.

I don't think we've been that bad. It would help if the ref could spot the constant fouling when we have a corner. If we can get more crosses in the box, we can recover this. It was always on my 'awkward game' list, and despite the 'they're sh*t' agenda, they've only lost once at home in ages.

This is the problem with Rudoni at the minute - slows things down, takes too many touches and often turns back into a crowded area and not into space, relying heavily on his flavoured left foot.
Pretty painful to see.

MVE should have been rested considering how much he was coughing a few weeks ago, it probably ended up prolonging it.
