Da Silva didn't really offer anything in my opinion. We were screaming out for Bidwell and Mason Clark on the left.

Thought Binks looked good today and made a couple of vital challenges, QPR arnt the best up front, so I was disappointed that we didn't change things ealier and play two strikers.
But we got the 3 points so all is good I'm the world.

Bet Binks can’t believe his luck with a clean sheet

Binks was a lot better second half. We could really do with 2 of the CB stepping up for this run in to allow us to play 433/4231.

I thought Dasilva was poor. Dovin saved him from another skating where he let his man run straight past him. He did win a header though, that’s an improvement.

Must be the first clean sheet when 2/3 of Collins Binks Dasilva have played but credit where it's due, both were good tonight.

Dasilva was pretty poor. Binks surprised me tonight, looked stronger and actually did some defending. Did fantastically well just before we scored when it looked like their player was going to flick it in from a cross

Binks was pretty good, but Dasilva was average at best.

DaSilva will never get a fair crack on here
First half he got exposed at times , second half he was more settled and had a decent game
Binks is a weird one , didn't look especially good until Kitching went off and then was brilliant. Maybe players are realising that when we go to a flat back 4 there is a lot of competition for places

I thought he was decent tonight and only exposed because of clear instructions to be more forward and in attacking areas he was quite a threat on the overlap.Bidwell definitely in a flat 4 though.

Most frustrating thing about both is throw ins. They procrastinate every bloody time!

Near the end DaSilva was left defending a cross v 2 big guys at the back post. Not sure how we allowed that to happen. He is always going to be targeted due to his size.
I thought he used the ball well, showed an excellent first touch and put a lovely cross to Tats.
Binks was hugely important seeing the game out with some perfectly timed, strong challenges. It is easy to forget how young he is. He definitely seems to have filled out from last year and he used that strength well.

He was far too isolated along with Saka in the 1st half.

Thought he was quietly solid tonight - nothing incredible but didn’t do an awful lot wrong. Always takes care of the ball really well which I think can be overlooked sometimes

I hope he is one of the ones told to find a new club come summer. I just don't rate him off the ball, it's frightening watching him scramble in blind panic to locate the ball or runner.

Both did well tonight.

Some people will never give Dasilva any credit, but he was fine defensively tonight. Even won a header As if Bidwell never gets done by a ball in behind.

Binks and Dasilva sounds too much like a Disney cartoon, dastardly duo, for my liking.

Binks defended well 2nd half. JDS got exposed a couple of times and it’s far too easy to get in behind him. Both were bailed out by Dovin at least once

Binks did well, as people say especially so when kitching went off.

JDS sadly will always get exposed because of the switch and getting him isolated. Shame as he does offer more generally going forward, but bidders all day for me, especially Saturday away at sheff Wed.

JDS needs moving on in summer if we find a suitor, best for all.

Did you and others think their left back got exposed? If not was it just he has more lace as I think he was smaller

Got admit don’t think that. Perhaps wasn’t looking and have pre conceived view of JDS.

Paal. We were in for him a while ago. Wiki has him two inches shorter than Dasilva. This place would have lost their shit.

We didn’t exploit it and I think he’s faster

JDs is ok when Kitching plays lcb not when binks does
To be fair binks last 15 won the game really

Paal is 1.74 and Dasilva 1.70, according to transfermarket, so about 1.5 inches taller.

Was a better game from Dasilva I thought. Nothing spectacular but his defending was fine on the whole and got forward better. Ball retention was mostly good as well.

Some sloppy moments for sure but in all fairness to him he was targeted pretty consistently throughout the game so he was always going to be in for a tough night.

Binks was good, especially in the second half. Back line had to deal with a fair few crosses and balls into the box so pretty solid.

JDS was OK but nothing special still hoping Bidwell back soon......Binks had a very good game and was my MOTM overall in a relatively tired performance overall - be interesting to see who starts against Sheffield Wednesday

Didn’t think Dasilva played badly but his limitations were on show, few times they switched it high and he struggled, and also just got swamped sometimes on the left.
