It's actually hard to think of an attribute he had, let alone one that made him stand out. Conference player at best.

These replies are typical of city fans in all fairness , he will go to notts county and play well thus proving again , there is something fundementally wrong at coventry city

Billy Daniels is 20 years old ie 3 years younger than Fleck, when he scored those goals last season he had just turned 19, he has hardly played for the club yet he is a write off just like so many other players that get a few games under the SP reign. However
Webster & Co are at least getting a game to demonstrate how crap they are.

Reported now

On a positive note it makes our league rivals weaker

Has he been out injured for a while or just completely off the first team radar? I forgot all about him.

That frees up £500 a week.

That means we can afford an adequate replacement for Webster!

"The emergence of a new crop of Academy graduates, notably James Maddison and James Finch, and Adam Barton’s re-emergence has seen him slip down the midfield pecking order"

Really? Not been given a real chance to prove that either way in my opinion.

So you don't think Barton has done well since coming back into the fold? He's head and shoulders above Thomas and Fleck for me.

Not particularly, no. I read a stat yesterday that he has 0 assists and 0 goals in 13 games. Just because he is better than Thomas and Fleck at the moment doesn't mean he has done well, it means he looks better than another 2 who are not playing well.

always been shit when ive seen him. more money to spend on players who will stop trying after 2 weeks and bully the manager.

Just found this post whilst trolling the internet

He had suffered quite a bad injury which required specialist treatment, however like Adams he is highly rated. His youth days he was like with a couple of move to Premiership sides, all nothing ever materialized.

Not a bad player, thoughts?

Laugh it up lads

you watch him flourish under a decent manager, one that will give him a chance. Not like the clown in charge at the Ricoh

Hes shit, end of conversation, nothing to get gutted about here, rather an experienced ball winner brought in now not another fairy like Daniels is, we have enough of them already

I hate these teenage fairies, I wonder why we were blooding a teenager in central midfield when there are so many good experienced midfielders out there, may be something to do with cost savings

So you believe we are making a mistake letting someone who is arguably 5th choice leave? If Finch is ahead in the pecking order than my god how bad can he be.

Anyone who has seen Daniels perform will know he is clearly not a player to take us forward, Notts C will want him as a squad player.

I've not seen enough of Daniels to have an opinion, but then Pressley doesn't particularly have a great track record of judging player ability so who knows.

He showed promise got injured and hasn't been the same
I wonder what wise move pressley will make with the freed up wages?

A product of the academy but on this occasion I think one that has not turned out so good for us. Selling would be a relatively good move for player and club. Wish him well.

Wasn't a fan. A bit like Clarke, could probably do with a change.

Daniels was thrown in too early and did well to start with. He scored more goals in two games than Fleck and Thomas have done in their Sky Blues careers. Would have liked to see him sent out on loan for a year.

Never that bad and deserved a crack in central midfield that wasn't forthcoming.
