A good article actually, a bit more information about what went on.

Although I don't get the issue about him moaning about getting fined for taking days off without asking.

Interesting read, we ought to send a copy to Bassala Sambou to see what he thinks about it.

His stats at Everton so far, 1 appearance for U23 no goals. No where near their first team.

Exactly, probably a lot healthier than mine at the moment & he'll be driving around in the obligatory Mercedes.

He could never play a game for them and just turn up for training every day, if the bits about him being on 3k a week are right then by the time he is 21 he will have made £468k.

A nice position to be in.

Bigi would have been on what? 10k a week. I have seen some links say about 15-18k a week but no idea how true.

Half a mill a year for going football training every day and the odd reserve match and moaning about getting a fine for not showing up.

(Thats his agent moaning, not bigi)

At least he's been given a second chance and has taken it. The amount of footballers who move on to 'better things' and never really make it is alarming.

I know that coming back to Cov isn't exactly 'making it' but he's somewhere where he's wanted (bar the big G) and he's playing regularly. Overall, sounds like a fairly grounded lad bar those couple of issues at Newcastle.

To be honest I thought it was a poor article and does not show Bigi in a great light to be honest. I am interested about the contract stuff through.

He was lucky he did it young and he is set for life now. I wouldn't ever class it as a "nightmare" though, frustrating he wants to play games but let's face it he has been made a millionaire from having to go football training every day and is only 22 so has a good 10 years of his career left.

It says that tomorrow says about why he chose Coventry on a short term deal over other long term deals, I guess as his wife is pregnant and he bought a house down here means he wants to settle.

Yeah, I agree. Being young though and away from home, can be tough, especially if you're having a tough time at work. I know he's a footballer and it's a privilege but no matter what you're profession, having a tough time from your boss can be a difficult situation. Nightmare is probably too strong a word but it wouldn't have been pleasant.

Lets just hope his agent remembers that he is happy here, and that the club do not offer him a derisory wage when it comes to contract renewal.

Just read the 2nd part surprised how much the agent reveals ... Like get as much out of Newcastle as you can then move on ... We all know they say it but surprised he put it in writing...also says he is not on a large wage so as to take him out of his comfort zone ..
Actually quite a good piece

Wish I had a nightmare at work whilst they paid me thousands every week, i'd prefer the nightmare all the time instead of the dream.

and be upset when he got fined a few thousand for not turning up for work, to go out with his mates instead. If I did that, I'd be sacked not fined.

Fair play to the lad though, I've been very harsh on him, especially when I found out he's signing again. Yet all he's done has prove me wrong, I hope it continues and it stays consistent, he only got given a one year deal I think.

Can't believe no one has picked up on the comment "Then if the club does have a new investor and he can be part of that, be in the plans and help take the club in the right direction, then great."

Why would he say that? Does that insinuate that in discussions with TM and MV that new investors were discussed??

From the sounds of it his agent will be touting him for a move a the first chance and is why his agent advised him to only sign a one year deal. Interesting but not really positive.

Yeah it is strange he turned down a longer term deal, his agent will be on over drive come May!

I don't think so if he signed a 3 year deal and had a blinder of a season sisu would sell him to the highest bidder but not his preferred club ... This way if he has a good season he is free to choose who he goes to with perhaps a signing on fee ..it is what joe Cole done so fair play as long as they put a shift in

The article also suggests bigi wanted to leave rather than the club forcing him out. Mentions he was poorly advised by friends and family.

Kind of bizarre that Bigi's still employing an agent whose entire track record so far is securing him a transfer and a loan deal that, in his own words, never should have happened, before shipping him back to where he started.

That's exactly how I read it too. Maybe it's just me but I don't think either Bigi or the agent come out of these articles particularly well. If Bigi needs some sort of father-figure to put him on the right path in life and football, he'd be better off looking beyond agents who are primarily interested in lining their own pockets.

I think it shows someone advising him had sufficient nous to understand the true situation at the club and advised him not to sign on for a long time and get dragged down in the likely coming shit storm (as if it isn't hailing poo as it is!).
