Will get better and in fairness needs to, word is this Andy Rose could be the business and putting a 6 foot 3 inch athlete next to him will help I believe.

Right I think the original point was we did very well to get the money that we did for him. Despite the outcry from many
on here at the time I think that now all are in no doubt we did very well to get the money for him....similar to the outcry
for Juke sale which I still will stick by was good business at the time......what has he done since.

However Grendel despite agreeing with many of your thoughts I am glad he is here and think overall he strengthens the squBigi gives us four midfielders for the defensive midfield role assuming we have Fleck, Vincelot, Rose and Bigi vying for the roles.
I think you have to concede Bigi better option than Jack Finch or Conor Thomas in that role so he therefore makes us stronger as a squad?

Yesterday was not one of his better days, too slow and pedestrian when on the ball. Their no 42 ran the game until JM and JOB came on. those two really made the difference injected some urgency and creativity.

Very lucky not to concede a penalty which was right infront of me. He's an okay player, nothing more nothing less. He's neat and tidy in possession but he doesn't have any real influence on a game. Positionally he's all over the place.

Fleck of course never makes mistakes and hasn't been directly responsible for any goals we've conceded

I honestly think Gael is one of the best players we have. His ball control and range of passing is head & shoulders above anyone else in the team IMO

i just think certain people on here have something against him for some reason, and of course the sheep jump on that bandwagon

Or it could be some prefer Bigi, some prefer Fleck (or another player)

Thats what being a fan is about, we all have an opinion and so do others, and it isnt always going to be the same.

He's a bit limited in my opinion. Ok at everything but not particularly good at anything. Saying that though most L1 players are the same

Its the way that it is constantly put across that gets my goat. Before too long some people will start blaming all that is wrong in world on him, amd my opinion is that it is unjustified. You will notice how he has not responded to my questions to him last night tho....wonder why??

It makes you laugh.

Had anyone said before the season that at Christmas we would be just 2 points off top spot and be the only team in England to be unbeaten at home, people would have said that in that case there would surely be only positive things to talk about and it would be brilliant.

Well here we are and people are moaning just as much as they ever did when we were down the bottom end.

1. Murphy
2. Bigi
3. Burge
4. Cole
5. Manager losing the plot
6. Armstrong
7. RCC
8. Kent
9. JOB
10. Wrong tactics
11. Phillips
12. Fortune
13. Wrong substitutions

There is so much wrong and therefore I think relegation obviously looms.

Sort it out City you're rubbish!!!

Classic grendel, well worth your time that. See the post above about our team and where we are in the league that's how u should be rather than sitting at the game counting how many misplaced passes bigi and cole make

Yup were obviously doomed!!!

Thing is after 3 draws some people were saying how bad we were. Thrn we won 3 on trot I think

Now after 2 draws and a loss we get threads about cracks beginning to show etc

Well we just 1. Would love it if we make it 3 in a row to end 2015 and ruin some fans new year lol

I would be happy with 4 pts from next 2 away games. And same from Burton and Walsall

8 from next 12 basically make me very happy. Anything else huge bonus

Well, if you were to sum up the season so far you would have to say it's been an unqualified success.

Welli never thought we would be in this position at Christmas. My pre-season prediction was 12th. So am I happy? You bet your life I am. We are not only top 6...2 points off top; we have played some unbelievably good football...fast, exciting, exhilarating; we are beginning to see a rise in fan numbers at home games; we have a manager that attracts excellent prospects and hopefully that will continue.
Are there any downsides? Well once we experience a bit of success the knives come out for players...burge never cost us a goal, RCC is young and inexperienced...as is Kent (all have potential). Armstrong hasn't scored in every game (or he would definitely be recalled), Bigi isn't fleck (but still miles better than most league one midfielders); the manager has made a few questionable substitutions/starting lineups (but is still the most impressive manager we have had for years)
So good to think these are our problems. For once I'm not looking over my shoulder at xmas and wondering if we will slip into the relegation battle. So refreshing to be looking up not down.
Merry Christmas to the doubters. If the next 4.5 months are as exciting and interesting as the last we may just be all smiling at the season end.
What on earth will we moan at then?

He's still a good age and if we could get him back for free I would do it ! Was a penalty though yesterday don't think the ref wanted to give a penalty all game though to be honest!! I think we missed fleck massively yesterday he is a massive part of how we play and will probably notice that tomorrow when he's back!!
