Do we have anywhere for him to play? Could he do a job alongside Fleck in place of Thomas?

I'd have Bigi back, Bigi can tackle which at this moment in time we need in the Centre of our Midfield.

I think the big problem might be the significant contribution to the wages that Newcastle seem to want. Not sure we can afford that. Pity, because I think he could do a great job for us in L1.

Would do a great job - all about the cost though. Championship club would seem more likely

Well Bigi could of only been on about £1.50pw when he was here so he can't be on much more up there.

Has he not been sold for £30million yet then?

Bizarre, a story that a Premier League player is available for loan and already people are disappointed because we definitely won't sign him.

I'd have Bigi back in the centre of the park despite how hideously overrated he was by some of our fans. He'd be a step up from Thomas who looks horribly out of form.

Was he ever in form? All season he has been giving the ball away and looks a lightweight. Crawley opening day I was so mad when we got back to 2-2 and he gave the ball away for 3-2. Got on my nerves and then I believe it was him who kept the ball in last minute against bradford on sky. Not knocking his effort but the kid just hasn't got it.

Why would he want to play in front of 2,000 people on a mud bath of a pitch ?

He's been going out on loan for months! Just journo talk I think, otherwise it would have happened before now. Not to us, but in general

Premiership club mate - even if he was right at the bottom of the players' salary scale he'd have to be on £4 - £5k per week. If he was being paid peanuts, Newcastle wouldn't be making noises about having a contribution to his wages, would they?

When Westwood went to Sunderland as basically a reserve keeper they offered him £20k/week, iirc. No issue with Westwood, but it's easy to see where all of the money going into the game ends up!

Very true pal. I suppose we shall see, we have brought in Delfounseo who I would of thought would have been in a similar wage bracket.

Yep, that's a fair shout - I wonder how much we're paying for him. The Walsall manager seemed to suggest quite a lot, but I sense that he was being a bit defensive there with regards to their own performance. Like you say, we'll see.

I'd have thought Bigi is the sort of player that SP would like - presses, passes, is mobile. I'd love to see him back, great lad.

Where are we going to get the significant contribution to his wages from?

The crying and gnashing of teeth over his departure was something to behold.

Think he was going to be sold for 10 times what we got for him within 2 years, even £35million I think from one poster.

He was alright, nothing more, but would do a good job in League One.

Would have Bigi back tomorrow. Cracking little player and add on the experience he has had at Newcastle he would be better, Can't see it happening though. Oh and I rate him ahead of Thomas too.

I seen enough games with him in a Coventry shirt to say he wasn't good enough. He wondered too often in games. The Leicester game sticks out to mind, it was shocking.

I don't see why he's rated when he's over-rated enough already.
