Could this be the reason why he hasn't been playing?

He has played 19 league games this season and could be due a wage rise at 20. We saw it happen to McIndoe too.

They should not have agreed to it if they did not want to pay him at 20 games! We may need him if we have any more injuries!

No, he asked to drop back to the Academy as he felt he was not ready for the Championship.

Yeah it's fairly well documented why he went back.

Besides he strikes me as someone who would rather play than earn at the moment.
