No way will we change our system and no way would NUFC let him come on loan to sit on the bench. Can't see it.

Don't really see the point in him coming back both for him or for us anyway!

If he's realistically going to break into a mid premiership side he needs to be playing at a higher level than League 1 at this stage of his career
We are doing well with Fleck / Thomas in the middle and have options. Rather have a back up striker or a CB for cover

We need atleast one central defender and a pacey winger before a midfielder. We are doing great and I think proving to be the best team in the division but that could be wrecked if Webster gets an injury, he looked to be struggling on Saturday for a while but seemed to run it off thankfully.

What about 3 at the back with bigi sitting in front with fleck and thomas in midfield, 3-5-2 ? Just a thought. Personally would love him back.

Are we really suggesting to change a formation and tactical setup when were on the best form the clubs been on in many posters on here's lifetime? Seriously?

don't believe we need a midfielder, defender and forward would be better.

No that is not what I suggested. I thought it would be good to have him in as depth because personally I don't rate Barton. If then we suffer injuries to the excellent midfield 2 of Fleck and Thomas then we could put Bigi in. And it was just a thought, not what I wanted to happen, you numpty. We cannot offer him regular first team football anyway so he wouldnt come and SP has said he isn't looking at the player. I always think its important to have your best formation and never change it, but have another in mind should you have to change it.

Remember when people said we got ripped off when Newcastle paid 1 million pound for him?

I actually feel Barton deserves a chance as next in line for the Central midfield berth. I find it harsh to judge a player who's never had a real run of games in his favoured position.

OK he is not a regular but I think hes had enough of a run to make an impact and to show us what hes worth and he hasnt. I still haven't written him off completely and I hope to be proven wrong.
